FREE E-BOOK for Hope n' Change Readers!

Hope n' Change has just released its first collection of cartoons, "The First 100 Daze," as a Kindle ebook on Amazon.com! And to say "thank you" to our readers, we're giving you the very same book in computer-friendly PDF format for free! Just click HERE to download it - no cost, no sign-ups, no kidding! If you want to share the link (or the PDF book itself) with friends, PLEASE DO!

"The First 100 Daze" contains 100 (count 'em!) cartoons taking us through these first strange days of Hope n' Change. It's a great way to catch up with the series, or introduce others to the fun!

Note: it's a 15mb download, so if you're not using a fast Internet connection it may take a while to download.

Interested in the Kindle edition? It's currently just $1.99 here at the Amazon Kindle page.
(And remember, use the OTHER link to get the free ebook...not the Amazon link)

What a cool idea!

Glad you like it! The idea is, of course, to spread copies of the book (or at least the LINK to the book) to as many people as possible. Not to make money, but because it's important for like-minded people to be finding each other and sharing their thoughts and ideas. And because having a lot of readers for Hope n' Change will give your humble author a greater sense of self-respect when people ask "just what is it you DO, anyway?"

What a refreshing breeze on the political landscape! Both the content and format are on a par with Ramirez, Benson, and Kelly. Thanks!

Thanks for the very nice comments - and for the blog link! The whole goal of Hope n' Change is to make some noise (including laughter), and to do that we need all the help we can get with links, reposts of the cartoons, and participation here in the comments section!

Dude... change the hot link so it doesn't leave your site target="_blank"

Anonymous, thanks for the HTML tip! I hadn't known how to do that, and will start using that feature for all the daily cartoons!

Obama has the interests of Kenya, Indonesia and the people of Islam at the forefront of his 'greymatter' brain. obvious. He doesn't even know anything about American Government. 180 active service days in the Senate, and he is ready to be President! what a illicit dreamer Obama is

I never expected to see a president who would make Jimmy Carter look like a forthright and patriotic statesman, but "B.O." (as my brother likes to call him) has done exactly that. I have two bottles of champagne in the refrigerator: the so-so one is for November 2, when the Democrats get crushed by us right-wingers, and the Dom Perignon for election night 2012, when Mr. Obama gets his pink slip. I think every sane American will drink to that! Nostalgic Reaganite, Howe, Indiana

I don't know what you think you're up to, giving away topical hilarity, but you had better cut it out, mister!

Once we dig ourselves out of the hole Obama has dug us I believe the USA will be the best its been in a long time. That is the only good change he will be able to take credit for.

Your generosity in doing this, matches your courage, integrity and sense of humor. Thank you, and a thousand thousand blessings to you and to all whom you love.
BTW - the last line in your 'disclaimer' could actually supplant the entire disclaimer before it.

The link to the Kindle version of your 100 Daze book appears broken, and the book is no longer listed on your author page there. Fortunately, the PDF download still works. Thanks for sharing.

Stilton Jarlsberg said...

Jim S- Actually, I killed the Kindle version myself. There was no way for me to offer the book free on that platform, and I just didn't feel like the quality of the book (in terms of how well adapted it was to Kindle) was something I wanted to charge readers for. It is my hope to make some much bigger, properly formatted books based on archival material; I've learned more about self-publishing in the past few years.

However, the FREE version still works fine and has all the same content. Glad you downloaded it - even if the content seems like ancient history in these fast moving times!
