To err is human, to forgive divine. Of course, to breed dogs for fighting, kidnap housepets to use as blood sacrifices, and torture and kill dogs for pleasure is sociopathic. Making the Philadelphia Eagles "forgiveness" of Michael Vick not so much divine as obscene.

Philip, thanks. To hear Vick talk about "making a mistake" absolutely makes my blood boil. What the hell kind of "mistake" is "Oops, I electrocuted another dog" or "Gosh darn it, I drowned another pooch," or "Oh shucks - who knew that my stable of fighting dogs would rip that stolen puppy to shreds?"
Vick isn't clumsy, he's a sadistic sociopath.
