A Stain on her Record

Just a cartoon today (no commentary) as Hope n' Change continues to watch the Benghazi hearings try to establish the real truth behind the wild fictions told by some of the nation's most prominent and self-serving liars.

Our suggestion to Hillary - don't wear any blue dresses for awhile.

Take 11 Million and Call Me Mañana

It strikes Hope n' Change as exceedingly odd that girls as young as 15 can now make the decision not to support a child for their entire life, but that adult Americans aren't being given the same choice when it comes to supporting illegal aliens for their entire lives.

Specifically, if the immigration "reform" proposal currently in the Senate is adopted, it will conceivably cost taxpayers $6.3 trillion to support 11 million formerly-illegal immigrants. According to the Heritage Foundation, who are smart folks that you really should be reading and donating to,  there will be a total outlay of $9.4 trillion in government services and payments to the border jumpers, and an influx of $3.1 trillion in taxes from the ones who A) find a job and B) report it to the IRS. Do the math, and that leaves $6.3 trillion to be paid by current taxpayers for the privilege of guaranteeing a Democrat majority in Washington for all eternity, and the need to "push 2 for English" on every phonecall you make for the rest of your life.

Hope n' Change is pretty sure that a really, really nice wall could be built on our southern border for a lot less than that...with enough money left over to ship 11 million illegals back to Mexico (well, except for the many illegals coming in from terror-sponsoring countries who can go to either Guantanamo or Hell) and slam the gate behind them.

Because "illegal" should mean something. It should not be rewarded. It should not be enabled. And the lawful should not be punished for crimes committed by others.

Make no mistake: immigration amnesty is about one thing and one thing only: the De-Americanization of America, which has been Barack Obama's primary objective since taking office. We can only hope that political correctness and political cowardice don't cause the GOP to help Barry get 11 million steps closer to that goal.

Executive Disorder

Today's commentary may be just a little threadbare (but no less sincere for that). It's been a complicated weekend, including the anniversary of my father's death on Cinco de Mayo seven years ago (note that it was simply the day he died; it wasn't a specific "tequila and piñata" incident gone wrong, and no burros or pistolas were involved). He was a great guy and I miss him every day.

But I couldn't let the day slip by without talking about my surging hopes for the upcoming "whistleblower" hearings on Benghazi this week, and my desire that the Administration's self-serving fictions will finally be brought to light (or better still, blown to smithereens).

Obama and Hillary lied their asses off to cover up a successful terrorist attack which took American lives (many or all of whom the two could have saved) all so Barry could continue to read "Osama bin Laden is dead and Al-Qaeda is on the run" from his campaign teleprompters.  Actual terrorism and death was an inconvenience to candidate Obama and 2016 candidate Hillary Clinton. And so they had to cover it up.

Some of the facts we already know: The attack was recognized as terrorism by the intelligence community immediately. An Al-Qaeda connection was known immediately. NO intelligence assessment ever mentioned the laughable YouTube video which Obama and Hillary repeatedly blamed the violence on (and for which the video's creator was thrown in jail). Susan Rice's story to the Sunday news shows was total and deliberate fiction, intended ONLY to fool the American public. And Barry had the gall to not only fly to his Las Vegas fundraiser on September 12th, while the rubble in Benghazi was still smoldering, but to compare his campaign workers to those who gave their lives in Libya because of the "sacrifices" they were making to improve out country by making phonecalls at dinner time, forging names on voter lists, and assuring four more years for B. Hussein to go golfing.

There are many issues which should put Barry and Hillary permanently out of politics - but this one may actually have the traction to do it. We're long overdue for some meaningful justice.
