Kevin Jennings, the so-called "Safe School Czar" appointed by Barack Obama, previously created a group named GLSEN (pronounced "Glisten")...the "Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network."

As part of GLSEN's outreach program, it visited schools and passed out "fisting kits" to children as young as 14 - plastic gloves, KY jelly, and instructions on the dangerous joys of rectal spelunking. They also demonstrated how to repurpose gloves for oral sex ("Put your tongue in the thumb hole"), and created a reading list which emphasized the "pleasure and empowerment" that young boys found when they discovered anonymous bathroom sex with much older men.

Hope n' Change would like to apologize for even talking about these things...and frankly, we didn't want to. But DAMN IT, it's important that we confront a president who thinks men like Kevin Jennings should be in a position to push these dangerous (and frankly appalling) behaviors on schoolkids, and awards him the position of "Safe School Czar" to help enable his agenda.

This is not about being gay or straight...because frankly, we don't care. But we do care about promiscuity, about morality versus immorality, and about protection of children. Which is more than we can say for Mr. Jennings...or Mr. Obama.

  1. Appalling.

Meanwhile as the government adds all these "social programs" (to put it mildly) to schools, there is less and less time for traditional learning...and America's graduates are falling far behind in education quality. (And making testing easier doesn't change the fact our kids are being dumbed down) Oh wait, I forgot...our administration can work best among a country of people who cannot think for themselves.

    *sigh*

  2. Suzy- As seems to always be the case with government programs, the amount of money spent per student is off the charts...and the results are dismal and getting worse. It doesn't have to be this way because it didn't used to be that way.

Now, it seems the primary goal of schools isn't education, but social (or socialist?) programming. The kids can't do math...but they know a lot of interesting ways to use gloves.

  3. TRWTF here is once again, the government is trying to push regulations forcing schools to teach things that should be better left to the parents of the children.

The problem is that we live in a society where more and more people are dumping their responsibilities on the government including the sacred responsibility of child rearing and social education.

I'm not saying that public schools are bad, far from it. What I'm saying is that a line must be drawn between what academia should teach a child, and what a parent has the responsibility to teach their child. By filtering things a parent should be teaching out of our curriculum, we would allow our teachers to focus on the more important skills like mathematics, science, and philosophy.

I know the problem with this situation is that parents don't have time to sit down with their kids anymore. But why is this? Because they have to work to make money. Why? Because housing, gasoline, and health care is expensive. Why? Because the government is regulating them instead of letting the free market regulate them. Why? Because people don't have time or responsibility to do their research to make an informed decision. This leads to mistakes and corruption which then breeds insurance companies and more government regulation. This raises costs, which means parents have to go to work to make money.

I don't know if what I'm saying makes sense to anyone but me but I argue that it's our lack of taking responsibility for our own lives and decisions which leads to big government. We very often mislabel this lack of responsibility as 'freedom.' When we ask the government to 'protect' our freedoms, we are often asking it to make up for our lack of responsibility.

The government isn't pussifying us, we are treating it as a baby bottle. We're the ones who need to grow up and take charge of the situation because if we don't do it now, our children will have to do it for us. The longer we wait, the more likely the only solution we will have is to throw our current government out and start again fresh. However, don't expect our enemies to sit on their weapon stockpiles and wait for us to finish...

  4. Joe is confused. He thinks that "some things" should be taught by parents. The fact is that the government is aware that if they don't do it many parents will fail entirely to teach their children how to do anal fisting.
