Click Cartoon for Larger Size Republican Patrick McHenry has submitted a House Resolution to redesign the $50 bill and put a likeness of Ronald Reagan on it. Unsurprisingly, the resolution hasn't generated much enthusiasm among the Democrats, who are more interested in running up bills than designing them.
Frankly, Hope n' Change likes the idea of Reagan's smiling, optimistic face in our wallets...reminding us that the right leadership can eventually pull the country out of an economic morass.
And in the interest of fair play, we think the treasury department should honor a Democrat, too. Perhaps Barney Frank on the 3 dollar bill...?
Great idea. Just make damn sure we never see Obama or Clinton on anything that is relative to America. These two chumps should have their retirement, perks, medical and secret service protection pull immediately
Barney Frank gets to be on the penny...since everyone's having to pinch them, and eventually they want to do away with them.

ReplyDeleteYes, great idea. The Reagan $50 Bill will remind us how optimistic and prosperous the 80's were. Like here.
ReplyDeleteOh wait ! This is exactly why Dems are not really happy about this resolution !
Maniacs.
ReplyDeleteKeep the change
ReplyDeleteAs much as I admired RR, I think we should leave the currency the way it is.
ReplyDeleteI always thought Carter should be on the three dollar bill.
