Wait of the World

In a hard-hitting interview with the Today show's Matt Lauer, Barack Obama responded to the GOP's "Pledge to America" by declaring that tax cuts, decreases in government spending, reduction in the national debt, and a less restrictive regulatory environment for business were all "irresponsible."

Democrats who are fighting for their political survival across the country were quick to echo the president's sentiments and... No wait, they
didn't echo his sentiments. Or acknowledge them. And in campaign commercials across the country, many Democratic candidates no longer even mention the "D-word" for fear of being associated with Obama, Pelosi, and Reid.

We appreciate the president's candor in
admitting his disdain for such core American values, and regret that Matt Lauer failed to offer the obvious follow-up question asking if the president also dislikes the 4th of July, moms, and apple pie. Then again, there's no need to ask questions when we already know the answers.

  2. Remember when you were in grade school, and some bully called you some names, and the best comeback you could come up with was, "Oh, yeah!?"

My O my, the poor little Socialist has painted himself into a corner.

  3. Hey, Matt - must be hard to ask questions when your face is wedged between the Prez's butt-cheeks.

To be fair, Lauer also gave Obama a reach-around.
    He's a full-service Obamawhore.

  5. Hey, Obama's giving us something rarely seen from politicians. Honesty. I'm sure he will stop short of uttering something like "Death to America!", but we know he's thinking it.

  6. "Matt, let me be clear. I know more about how to run this country (into socialism and the ground) than any other person alive. Gotta have higher taxes, gubment's gotta spend more money, gotta get more people on welfare, gubment gotta take over bid-ness and industry, gotta have soup lines, gotta git-rid of them pesky republicans who want to see this country prosper."

"Mr. Prez'dent, you so smart!" "Yup, yup, yup. If I were a dog, I'd lick your butt."

  7. "You People" just don't get it. The President's poll numbers remain high. Something like 80 percent of the people say they really really like him. It's his "policies" they hate. Like 1. getting up in the morning. 2. being president 3. Inhaling 4. Exhaling 5. Not going on more vacations
Remember, he doesn't hate America and he isn't trying to destroy it. As Hugh Hewitt, conservative radio noise pointed out he isn't burning down the cities or throwing babies off the tops of the buildings. The stuff he is doing he is doing because he thinks it is best for America. Of course, by those standards Napolean, Hitler, Pol Pot and Stalin were all just patriots as well. All those countries -- at least the land masses -- are still there.

  8. That's the whole problem..."doing what he thinks is best for America." He doesn't know what's best for America. He voted 'present' when he was in congress probably because he couldn't understand what was being voted upon. He's trying to turn the country into what he sees as best for him, his cronies and the government at the expense of all Americans.

  9. 'o's One accomplishment:
He has awakened "We The People"!

Voting for 'o's 'Hope and Change', indicate that "We The People" were already Fed UP!
    'o' failed to deliver!
"His failure is due to the fact that he is completely Oblivious to the Concepts of both Liberty and Freedom"!
    America is 'Ripe For Revolution'!
What are 'YOU', as One of "We The People" prepared to 'PEACEFULLY', Do About It???
This Is OUR Country: "Of, For, and By the People"!
"We The People" have forgotten that!

    Metaphorically speaking:
"I drop many pebbles into the Pond!
    "Seldom are there any Ripples!"

  10. Readers- Some very interesting and enjoyable comments above. We really do believe that Obama is trying to do what he believes is best for the country...but that he believes what is "best" is to essentially destroy all of our systems and start over from scratch. He is a cold, deceiving and secretive man who seems motivated by smoldering and deeply personal anger toward this country.
