But what honked off Hope n' Change the most was when Barry not only encouraged protests over this non-racial event, but said that if they become violent the ONLY thing he'll do is "remind folks that it dishonors Trayvon."
Really, Barry? You won't do anything to actually stop the violence or hold anyone responsible? For once, we actually believe you.
------
Of course, while Barry is dabbing crocodile tears about the cruel racism he suffered when a security guard in a department store once gave him a raised eyebrow, he's also planning his taxpayer-funded vacation in Martha's Vineyard - "The Whitest Place On Earth." Although it's unclear whether he wants to avoid brown people, poor people, or just rabble in general.
And finally, Hope n' Change couldn't go to press without a last salute to the Whitehouse press room's grand old lady of anti-Semitism, Helen Thomas. The 92-year-old alleged journalist died of natural causes in a freak mirror explosion, but her spirit lives on. Specifically it lives on as the newest virgin that Tamerlan Tsarnaev will be forced to canoodle for eternity.
Sum Ting Wong.... only half of cartoons display. Is it just my pooter, or is this happening to anybody else?
ReplyDeleteColby: Nope the cartoons aren't loading on my 'puter either. I think maybe the NSA is csusing some interference.
ReplyDeleteSame here, Colby. Although if it means I can't see Helen Thomas' face it's not an entirely bad thing.
ReplyDeleteWhy would Obama do anything to discourage the violence he's so aptly fanned? "Recovery Summer VI" is yet another bust. The reality of ObamaCare is becoming unavoidable to even most Democratic voters going into an election year. The "international community" is becoming ever more disenchanted with our the Nobel Peace Prize winning President. Detroit, exclusively run by Demoracts for a half-century as a laboratory of Progressive social policy and economics is now officially bankrupt. And there's still the IRS, Benghazi, and other scandals.
ReplyDeleteSo a month or two of burning cities would probably be a pleasant distraction as far as this administration is concerned.
Has anyone else noticed that when liberals don't get their way, "burning cities" is always the threat? Fortunately, it rarely happens. Perhaps that's one reason why the left is so motivated to eliminate "stand your ground" laws. Being a homicidal vandal would be far less risky without vigilant citizens armed and ready to fire.
Speaking of firing, albeit stupidly, anyone catch this?
Wash. state man says shooting followed VP's advice
"VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — A Washington state man who fired a shotgun in the air to chase away car prowlers says he was following the advice of Vice President Joe Biden.
Jeffrey Barton, of Vancouver, pleaded not guilty Wednesday in a Clark County court to a charge of illegally discharging a firearm. The 52-year-old fired the shot Monday when he thought people were breaking into his vehicles.
Outside of court, Barton told KOIN (http://bit.ly/13mpjyH ), "I did what Joe Biden told me to do. I went outside and fired my shotgun in the air."
In an answer to a home defense question in February, the vice president said Americans don't need semi-automatic weapons because a couple of blasts from a shotgun will scare off intruders.
Sheriff's deputies said that' not allowed except in self-defense."
http://news.yahoo.com/wash-state-man-says-shooting-followed-vps-advice-135340301.html
Just an example of the only thing dumber than what comes out of Joe Biden's mouth, is someone who actually listens to him.
Ironically, the picture of Martha's Vineyard in this post is of Oak Bluffs, a town with a mostly black Methodist summer community that played a major role in its history.
ReplyDelete@John: Especially the deputies. This is a scene right out of idiocracy. The premise is asinine, someone follow the premise, and some "official" will point out an asinine clarification of something that isn't law, not even rational.
ReplyDeleteI guess Stilt fixed the cartoons - all fine here, even the Evil Frog Woman, may God have mercy on her soul.
Thanks for the "irony", Mr. Koenig. Doesn't controvert the point Stilton makes, though, especially when you read further to find these history-making African-Americans are "the elite", and their history in Oak Bluffs is "decades old" when they came for their expensive vacations since segregation prevented them from rubbing elbows with other Martha's Vineyards denizens - like, say, erm the Kennedys, stanch Democrats they were. To add to your irony, most of the links in their town website are empty - including the history you refer to. But, to your point, there are a whopping 4.2% "African Americans" in the town http://www.city-data.com/city/Oak-Bluffs-Massachusetts.html. Not sure how you identified that as an Oak Bluffs photo, though. Live there? But, anyway, you can do better than that "irony" to attack this site, can't you, can't you? Like maybe address some of the issues Øbama is running off to avoid addressing, as cited in the write ups? Maybe you can tell us why Helen is so honored when she so clearly disgraced herself as a racist? Perhaps you can tell us why Joe Biden is VP when he clearly couldn't make it through the third grade today? Or why the whole Travon Martin/George Zimmerman thing commands more presidential attention than Benghazi or the IRS power abuses, just for two big ones?
No matter, Andrew. I didn't think you could or would. My questions are rhetorical.
John the Econ,
ReplyDeleteBut is Jeffrey Barton stupid? Or is Biden and the Media stupid?
Can you imagine how differently Biden's comments would have been covered had they been uttered by Quayle? Or GW Bush?
I'd do EXACTLY what Barton is doing, scream long and loud about how he did exactly what Barky's Veep TOLD HIM TO DO.
Granted, more than half the battle is media control, and it's not like most people hear this story, but it's what needs to happen.
We need to point out that this man did exactly what Biden said to do -- if it was illegal, why was Biden inciting illegal acts?
On Barky's attacks on "Stand Your Ground" Laws, we need to point out two facts;
1. In Florida, SYG laws protect blacks far more than whites (in the cases involved), and
2. In 2004, then-Senator Barky worked on expanding coverage of SYG in Illinois.
It's past time to stomp the Democratic Lies into the dirt, like a Kaiju does a Jaeger (why YES, I DID see Pacific Rim this weekend) -- and how better to do that than to air their own rampant hypocrasy for all to see.
If Barton goes to jail, shouldn't Biden suffer as well?
If Barky hates SYG law, and loves raising the Debt Ceiling, why was he on the opposite side of both before becoming El Presidente Incompetente?
Big smash. Like. A. Kaiju.
Many of us were no doubt too young to be paying attention at the time, but Detroit was the US candidate for the 1968 Olympics, that eventually went to Mexico City.
ReplyDeleteThe question "Would the cash and construction influx have prevented / delayed the riots in 1967?" can, of course, never be answered.
But it is totally clear that 50 years of Democrat Kleptocracy have turned the "Paris of the West" into the joke of the week...
Heh - passphrase "taileho"... yup, sounds like Friday night downtown..
Shoot, forgot the link. Follow this, or just search "Detroit Olympic bid" on you tube... it's appalling...

@Colby & GregMan- Please let me know if the pictures are still screwed up. They're displaying okay for me (at 11:14 am Monday) but Blogger was having fits last night when I was posting this.
ReplyDelete@John the Econ- I absolutely believe that Obama wants burning cities right now. Or at least enough violence to whip into a media souffle. He desperately needs to shift attention from himself and his policies.
Regarding the guy who took Biden's advice (say, that might be a new meme in the making...) I think he needs to have Biden called as a witness to any trial. Oops, I spelled "witless" wrong...
@Andrew Koenig- Yes, the picture is from Oak Bluffs...in Martha's Vineyard. And actually, there are some interesting ironies in looking at the Oak Bluffs experience for black Americans.
Here's an interesting article which describes the history and current status of wealthy black Americans who summer in Oak Bluffs in order to rub elbows with other "upwardly mobile" black Americans who have found that education and hard work is letting them live the American dream. And I say bless them, one and all - even though Barry, Biden, and the rest of the Administration would attack these people as being part of the evil 1%.
The article also points out that the actual black population of Oak Bluffs is 2.5% - well below the national average. So whatever part of Martha's Vineyard one vacations in, including Oak Bluffs, you're going to see very few black Americans - and absolutely no poor ones. Which, I believe, is absolutely Obama's intent.
@Emmentaler- More and more, I'm becoming convinced that "Idiocracy" isn't a movie so much as unchangeable prophecy.
And while I appreciate your well-researched and vigorous defense, I didn't/don't really think that Andrew Koenig was attacking either me or the site; it IS ironic that Oak Bluffs has some black history - but has been "whitened" more than Michael Jackson.
@Earl Allison- Frankly, anyone who believes any advice from any member of this administration is stupid. So stupid, in fact, that I think some sort of insanity defense could easily be won.
And the whole "stand your ground" law has pretty much NOTHING to do with the Zimmerman case, even though it's currently being pinned down on a sidewalk by president "I Could Be Trayvon" and having blows rained on it.
"Stand Your Ground" is intended to protect the potential victims of crime, which makes it a good thing for black Americans who'd rather not be brutalized while defenseless.
And I haven't see "Pacific Rim" yet, but look forward to doing so when I can. Although if the fight scenes took place in Martha's Vineyard, I'd probably go today.
@Pete(Detroit)- Interesting to think what becoming an Olympics venue might have done for Detroit.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, my brother-in-law is an economics expert who once got on then-president Jimmy Carter's craplist by telling him that Detroit (and the region) wasn't going to return to robust fiscal vibrancy and that Carter should plan accordingly. Carter ignored him, of course.
Stilton,
ReplyDeleteI know Stand Your Ground has nothing to do with the Zimmerman case, but since Barky is so hung up on it (because he can't become the God-Emperor if we have guns), we should hoist him with his own petard. Here's the link on Barky's SYG contrubitions as a state Senator.
http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/354059/obama-voted-strengthen-illinoiss-stand-your-ground-law-2004-john-fund
As for Pacific Rim, it's bright, loud and stupid, EXACTLY what a monster movie should be. I think you will like it. Ron Perlman has a small role, but you can see he has fun with it. And the monsters and robots are really cool, too!
Thanks!
@Stilton: I'm not so sure; however, I'll stand down on it. Anyway, it was more my migraine-addled brain speaking this morning than the conservative constitutionalist that attempts to remain in control of it (you can tell by the better research and fewer typos...).
ReplyDeleteStilt-meister,
ReplyDeleteSorry to say, all three toons are still missing their bottom halves. The good news is, I can get the gist from the comments section. And like GregMan says, it's not all bad. I feel funny picking on a dead person, but Helen Thomas asked for it for, what, about 6-7 decades? If's she's one of Jackov Tsarnaev's virgins, who the hell are the other 71? Or maybe HE will be one of somebody ELSE'S virgins. Very thought provoking....
@Earl Allison, I think we both know that whatever Biden, Obama, or anyone of their ilk says is non-sequitur; It's only said to appease the crowd they are addressing at that particular moment. As we have seen with ObamaCare, departmental appointments, immigration law, and elsewhere, the standard of law that this administration is held to and that which you, I and poor Mr. Barton are held to is vastly different. By now, any citizen who doesn't recognize that who is lacking friends in very high places is just an idiot, and has whatever is coming to him.
ReplyDelete@Pete(Detroit), interesting hypothetical, but I think your question has already been answered:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2012/may/09/athens-2004-olympics-athletes-home
It doesn't matter how much you spend if you don't have a viable plan, and couldn't manage one if you actually had one anyway.
Hiroshima vs Detroit: Just goes to show that liberalism is even more destructive than a nuclear bomb, just given time.
@Earl Allison- Interesting read on SYG and Obama. It absolutely shows what a hypocritical, race-baiting SOB he is.
ReplyDeleteAs far as "Pacific Rim," the trailers and featurettes I've seen look fun. And giant monsters battling giant robots sounds pleasingly cathartic about now.
@Emmentaler- Dang, sorry about that migraine. And in cases of doubt, I prefer to assume innocence until guilt is probed. The Oak Bluffs information really IS ironic and interesting - because the "upwardly mobile" black Americans who are there (in small numbers) got there primarily through hard work and education; not handouts or affirmative action. Maybe Obama should start treating some of them as role models instead of the gangsta rappers he hosts at the Whitehouse.
@Colby- Okay, I reloaded all of the cartoons so HOPEFULLY you can see them now (though Blogger was acting freaking weird while I was rebuilding the post).
And yes, it's a cheap shot to go after someone when they die - but I also went after Helen Thomas when she was alive, so at least I'm not a hypocrite.
Some have said that it's 72 raisins, not 72 virgins. But in Helen Thomas's case, I guess it still applies.
ReplyDelete@Earl- It's hard to imagine anything "raisin" in the presence of Helen Thomas (rimshot).
ReplyDeleteInteresting read, re: Øbamacare and the employer and individual mandates duel: http://www.omaha.com/article/20130721/NEWS08/130729979/1677. Granted, though the voice is strong and spot on, it is coming from someone exploring the possibility of getting elected to Congress so that he, too, can sell us all out...
ReplyDeleteRon Perlman and Charlie Hunnam in "Pacific Rim"? Are they holding a "Sons Of Anarchy" reunion already?
ReplyDeleteI'm sick and tired of everything the hypocritical, racist, socialist Barack Hussein says and does, no matter what, when, and where. Thank goodness Stilton is here to help me get through Barack Hussein's reign of borderline terror!
I heard Barack Hussein's comment about hearing car doors lock when walking by, and I wanted to tell him that I've heard the same thing a couple times. I'm a 60-year-old white guy. What makes him so special?
ReplyDelete@Emmentaler- I don't want delays in the employer mandate OR the individual mandate. I want the feces to hit the fan good and hard - and BEFORE the midterm elections.
ReplyDeleteThere was also a great piece in this morning's WSJ from the CEO (I think) of the Carl's Jr restaurant chain, explaining why young employees will choose to pay trivial fines instead of paying for Obamacare. The problem - without a massive influx of young people paying premiums, then the system falls apart. As it will.
@JustaJeepGuy- If I didn't have so much equity invested in calling this strip "Hope n' Change," I might well change it to "Sick n' Tired." I'm beyond my limits with this president, his party, his cronies, his media supporters, and anyone in this country who can tolerate him.
So we're all sharing this experience together, and I benefit from the support as much (or more) than anyone else.
@JustaJeepGuy, I'm sorry, but what moron doesn't lock their car doors in parking lots?
ReplyDeleteIs this just another example of how removed from reality this President is, or is it really another cynical attempt to create more "racists" where none really exist? Next thing we'll hear is that it's also "racism" not to leave your keys in the ignition and your wallet on the seat.
@Stilton, I agree with you; I'd much prefer that they stop deferring the impractical, unworkable, and unpopular aspects of ObamaCare, and just let this train wreck slam everyone squarely on the nose in all of it's glory. I'd like the ultra-low-information voters finally figure out that there's really nothing "free" for them in this. I'd like businesses to make some decisions about where they're going one way or another. I'd like people who's jobs are on the bubble over this to find that out before the mid-terms instead of immediately after. I'd like the unemployed college kids who thought it would be cool to vote for "hope & change" to not only realize the depth of their mistake, but motivate them to never let it happen again. I'd like every citizen to have to figure out how to answer and file the dozens of pages of enrollment forms they initially created. I'd like to see the corporations that sold their souls initially cooperating with the Democrats to have to experience the costs of playing with these vipers. I even think it was a mistake repealing the requirement that all businesses be made to file 1099s on all b2b transactions of more that $600. I want the horror of all of this experienced asap, instead of dragging it out for another half decade while the rest of what was great about this country atrophies away.
I've always argued that ObamaCare was not about being a workable system, but about destroying what was left of the old private system so that the government could move it and take over another chunk of the economy. Let's stop screwing around and get to it!
Just checking in to make sure helen is still room temp. You just can not trust those media people about anything and she is/was a media maven. Stake and garlic sound good- and on that note I will see what we are having for dinner.
ReplyDeleteAh yes. Black People getting together to protest a long standing history of injustice (that the unpunished murder of an innocent 17 year old child proved is very much alive and well) perpetrated by entitled manchildren will of course only lead to violence, and Obama needs to threaten black people with force to make them remain civil, rather than appeal to their better nature.
ReplyDeleteBut, you're totally not a racist, because you said so, and because you blindly parrot the talking points of the Republicans who explicitly said that they are racists to a man following the Southern Strategy.
RE: Jeffery Barton;
ReplyDeleteThis is not the first time this has happened, and won't be the last. Dumb-Drunk Joe Obiden planted the perfect seed for gun control last Feb. when he told America to do what Mr. Barton did. Grab a shovel and dig this: The more gun owners that blast their shotguns indiscriminately out their windows or porches, means more gun owners breaking gun laws, thereby labeling them as gun criminals, and having ALL their guns confiscated, and NEVER being able to own firearms again. Just one more way to disarm the citizens without using jack-booted-high shtepping Geshtapo.
Sieg Heil!
@David:....did you just try to blame the fact that gun owners have the impulse control and good judgement of children on Joe Biden?
ReplyDelete@Ted Brist:
ReplyDeleteNo Teddy, I re-read my post, and I never said what you just misread into it.
Exactly what are they protesting, @Ted Brist? What injustice? The state made its case against Zimmerman and failed miserably. The state was unable to make the case for murder, or even manslaughter. If they should be mad at anybody, it's the state for failing to make the case, or for filing it in the first place.
ReplyDeleteBut judging from the rhetoric most of these people seem to be "parroting", as you say, they have a very, very poor understanding of American jurisprudence. I chalk that up to a totally failed educational system, and a culture that eschews education and literacy over more superficial pursuits.
Meanwhile, I wonder how many more kids will be killed in Chicago tonight, without the involvement of White-Hispanics? And why isn't anyone protesting that?
@David: You claimed that, just by having Joe Biden say something about firing a shotgun into the air, that gun owners are gonna be unable to resist his command and do it, and be locked up for that. And because they did something stupid, its Bidens fault.
ReplyDelete@John the Econ: A priviliged, self appointed vigilante was walking through a neighbourhood, and saw a kid walking by himself. He followed him, refusing to leave him alone. When the kid got scared by a guy with a gun following him, the self appointed vigilante got scared and shot him. And thats not illegal. What possible part of that is not something to protest?
The stand your ground law is racist, because all it takes is fear, and, as Stilton proved very aptly by saying that Black People need to be threatened with force to not become violent, racists like Zimmerman and you are always afraid of black people, because their skin color is darker than yours.
You can't blame the state for failing to make a murder charge stick to a guilty man when there's a law on the books that makes murder of black people legal if you think you need to.
@ Ted Brist: why must you continue to bring racism into this??? ok .... maybe racism was involved.... but it was Treyvon who was the racist! "something about a crazy cracker??" tell me something, Ted ..... have you EVER taken a life? at close range?? do you HONESTLY think G.Zimmerman will EVER be free? he will relive that night in his nightmares until he dies!
ReplyDeleteWell @Ted Brist, who is parroting now? Clearly you didn't pay attention to the details of the case.
ReplyDeleteWhat exactly makes Zimmerman "privileged"? Please explain that.
Martin attacked Zimmerman. This is not in dispute. What would the outcome of this had been if Zimmerman had not been armed I wonder.
And exactly what makes "stand your ground" laws "racist"? Such laws apply to non-whites. And since (I am sure you would agree with this) Black Americans tend disproportionately live in violence-prone neighborhoods, they tend to benefit from such laws far more than white people do.
But then again, the Zimmerman case had absolutely nothing to do with Florida's "stand your ground" law. Do tell me, why does it keep coming up when this is the fact?
"You can't blame the state for failing to make a murder charge stick to a guilty man when there's a law on the books that makes murder of black people legal if you think you need to."
Non-sequitur. QED. In fact, I do believe that your last paragraph, is, in fact, "racist".
@John the Econ- Yes, people lock their car doors, and it's not necessarily a statement on how shifty Obama looks. As black economist Walter Williams says, we're currently dealing with too many black people who would blame racism for a flat tire.
ReplyDeleteAnd regarding Obamacare, we're in complete agreement. Let the horror happen as it was written into law; they passed it - now let's let EVERYone see what's in it.
@REM1875- Helen's body may be room temperature, but I highly doubt her soul is.
@Ted Brist- Wow, the "unpunished murder of an innocent 17 year old child," huh? Prithee, what information do you have that the police, the FBI, the prosecutors, and a jury somehow overlooked in coming to your conclusion?
And by the way, for the president to say that laws against criminal mob violence will be enforced (which he didn't) is hardly "threatening black people with force to make them remain civil," you insufferable dildo.
You then started babbling something about Republicans, who don't interest me, and the Southern Strategy, which I've never heard of.
@David in SoCal- Biden is an idiot, but in this case his advice borders on the criminal.
@Ted Brist- I'm glad that you ask questions about things you can't understand (which no doubt keeps you pretty busy). David said that the gun owner did exactly what your vice-president told him to do. Then again, that information was in the news so might not have filtered into the psychic visions which you seem to rely on for information.
ReplyDelete@David in SoCal- I don't know how Ted managed to misunderstand you. Which is why I think he wants to misunderstand you.
@John the Econ- Here, here! I don't know what Ted thinks would be more fair than a jury trial (other than a rope and a tree) for Zimmerman. Even now, uber-racist Eric Holder is backing away from trying to file a civil rights case against Zimmerman because there is no evidence whatsoever that Zimmerman is a racist, and a buttload of evidence that he isn't.
And as far as the rising death toll in Chicago, maybe Ted would suggest that the black murderers (of black victims) are acting like children with poor impulse control. Is that what you think of those black killers, Ted? That they're childlike and lack impulse control? Cause that sounds sort of, you know, raaaaaaaaaaaaacist.
@Ted Brist- Sorry, your neuron appears to be clogged again. David said nothing like that.
And thank you for giving us the perspective from Mars about what happened the night Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman met. You just have a few things wrong - the facts.
Zimmerman wasn't a vigilante, he was a neighborhood watch volunteer. You say Trayvon was scared that "a guy with a gun" was following him - but how the hell would Trayvon know Zimmerman had a gun? Zimmerman was talking on the phone to the police, not firing his six-shooter into the sky (avoiding the temptation to succumb to Joe Biden's advice).
No, according to the testimony from Rachel "I can't read my own statement" Jeantel, Trayvon wasn't afraid of a man with a gun - but he suspected that Zimmerman might be a Gay rapist (it's okay to hate Gays in your world, right Ted?) who needed a "whoop ass," as the charming Ms. Jeantel put it.
You then say the self-appointed vigilante "got scared and shot him." Only that's not what the experts said, under oath: they said that Zimmerman simply turned to get into his car and leave when he was jumped by Trayvon who started beating the shit out of him and inflicting potentially life-threatening injuries. So did Zimmerman immediately shoot Trayvon? Nope - he screamed his ass off for help. But then Trayvon saw the gun, said "you're gonna die tonight" and grabbed for it. Which is when George Zimmerman acted in self-defense and ended the confrontation. Entirely legally.
In your insufferable ignorance, you claim that the stand your ground law is racist, despite the fact that "stand your ground" wasn't invoked as a defense in this case, and despite the fact that more blacks who don't want to be victims are helped by "stand your ground" than whites. And guess who strongly supported "stand your ground" in Illinois? I'd give you his initials, but since they keep changing I'll just say Barack F. Obama.
And then you just start making shit up about me fearing people with dark skin, or claiming that threats of force should be made to keep people down. You're delusional, Ted. You're hearing voices. You're off your meds - not to mention your rocker.
I'd say more about your personal failings, but I don't want to upset your mother.
@Teddy Brist:
ReplyDeleteWell, to tell you the truth, if given the option, I think that I too would fire into the ground or in a safe direction if it would scare off the perp, rather than end a life. BUT, if given a situation like Mr. Z, my attacker would definitely be 'shovel ready'. Most all of the legal responsible gun owners would NEVER discharge a weapon in an unsafe direction like Obiden advises in his PSA. There will always be a few 2a friendlies that will handle a firearm in an unsafe manner; much like there will always be a few Muslims who will enjoy murdering innocent defenseless people all over the world. We are told not to judge Muslims by the actions of a few; let's give MILLIONS of legal responsible American gun owners the same respect.
@John the Econ, I was nowhere near a parking lot when I heard car doors locking. The most recent time was about 10:00 AM, as I crossed a city street on my way to the local public library. I've never thought of myself as having a threatening appearance, so I don't know what the story was.
ReplyDeleteI have had people both black and white lock their doors after looking at me I just smile and nod and lock my doors while looking back at them like they just gave me a great saftey tip. The looks they give me back are priceless.
ReplyDeleteI do not allow it to scar me for life however.
Mr.Stilton
ReplyDeleteI know this is a bit off topic, but I thought you should see this. I turns out that 500+ prisoners, mostly senior al-Qaeda members awaiting execution, reportedly escaped from Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison last night during what Reuters is calling a "military-style assault to free them.".

Stilton,
ReplyDeleteOl' Ted has provided us with some entertainment, but it has become obvious to me that he will not be drawn from his shell of ignorance by any of the bloggers who regularly visit this site. I am speculating here, but I'll venture to guess that Ted gets his news from: Facebook, Twitter, MSNBC and CNN (likely in that order). I am merely one voice of many, but would suggest that from now on, we just simply ignore his ignorant, misinformed and racist rantings.
Oh, and I can see the cartoons now. Thanks!
Dear Ted,
ReplyDeleteI suggest you go to a video I just watched recently. It is racism on steroids. You'll have a great time with it. Sorry I don't know how to do a link to it. But on Youtube search for Bill Whittle-The Lynching.
And Stilt, thanks a lot for that picture of Ted's mother. Now I have to go pour bleach in my eyes. Thanks again.
I just happen to have watched the same video and can certainly recommend it. I can't guarantee it is 100% accurate, but it is certainly better than anything you're likely to see on TV.
ReplyDelete@David in SoCal- Liberals like Ted believe that people buy guns not for the purpose of defense, but because they hope they'll get the opportunity to kill someone. I think it has to be some bizarre form of projection of their own hostilities, in the same way that their reflexive cries of "racism" are projections of their own low opinions of anyone black.
ReplyDelete@JustaJeepGuy- These days, it doesn't take much to have a "threatening appearance." All males are considered (by some) to be potential rapists or child abductors. If you're wearing ratty clothes, you could be a thief, lunatic, or drug user. Or maybe we now live in such a climate of fear that anyone can be suspicious of anyone else without even needing a reason. But in Obama's eyes, it must be racism when it applies to him. Because he desperately wants and needs that conclusion to justify his own negativity towards white people as documented in his own autobiography.
@REM1875- I find that a good antidote to such foolishness is to try to do random good deeds for strangers when I can. Holding doors, returning grocery carts - whatever.
@Anonymous- A story like the al-Qaeda members escaping is never "off topic" around here. I can only imagine that the Lefties will be pleased, considering they viewed Abu Ghraib to be worse than any of the Nazi death camps.
@Colby- I'm with you. Brist isn't interested in either facts or conversation. He wants to rant and hate, and it's tiresome. I'd strongly encourage readers not to respond to anything he writes - especially since I plan to nuke his comments whenever they appear.
@WMD- Watching that particular Bill Whittle video would take much more courage than Ted has: it would prove that everything he knows is wrong.
And sorry about the photo of Ted's mom (who was, interestingly enough, actually giving birth to Ted in the picture).
@txGreg- To the best of my ability to check, Whittle got his facts right (as usual). Thanks for linking to the video; it's a "must see" for anyone still confused about the Zimmerman case.
ReplyDelete@SJ - Pacific Rim was a lot of fun. Think Voltron vs. Godzilla.
ReplyDeleteIt is worth seeing on the big screen purely for the special effects, which put the Transformers films to shame.
@Stilton:
ReplyDeleteThanks bunch for having my '6' with all the deficatial replies from Ted(ignorance is)Brist; to my posts re: J.(Biden-style) Barton. You are a competent soldier, and I will gladly put on my SoCal Cammies; pick up my keyboard; and trudge off to battle with you anytime/anywhere. Having a 'guy' like Teddy boy around can have a positive effect: as to forcing a few of us to do more research and find out the real truths, in his .5 truths, and then confront ol' Teddy with the whole truth,; something he has no experience with. BUT; there are other times when we wish we could strip Teddy nekkid,(dammit),cover him in Preparation 'H', and make him disappear. AND, please do not apologize for the uber sexy pic of Brotha Bliss' Mutha. After witnessing the carnage of his birth, I'm surprised his Mom didn't name him'BUUUUUUUUUUUICK'.
Bless you Stilton, and the rest-o-y'all.
@Stilton,
ReplyDeleteI didn't mean to cast aspersions on Bill Whittle. I have really appreciated his work and respect his integrity.
The only bit that I'm not sure of is the movement of Trayvon immediately preceding his attack on Zimmerman.
I have heard various reconstructions, including the one Whittle uses in describing the unfolding of events.
However, the prosecution's "star witness" states that at one point Trayvon had 'run home' to his Father's house - disconnecting the call to her as he did so. Apparently this was when Zimmerman began walking back to his vehicle. Then Trayvon called her again, they got into their "creepy ass cracker" discussion, whereupon Trayvon decided to leave his father's home and deliver a little "whoop ass" to Zimmerman.
On the one hand, I have a hard time with her quality as a "witness." On the other hand, I'm not sure (beyond extending her own 15 minutes) what making up that story accomplishes. It certainly does not help defend her friend or his actions.
So anyway - that period of time where the evening stroll turned into an assault and beat down is where I'm not too clear on the specific sequence of events. Thus, I'm not sure whether I agree with Bill on that or not. It doesn't really affect the essentials of the narrative though.
@Coon Tasty- I think film criticism is a valuable part of the whole Hope n' Change Cartoons experience (grin). I haven't seen the most recent Transformers film, but the previous two were so dumb that the quality of the special effects largely didn't matter to me.
ReplyDelete@D- I was happy to add my two cents' worth in your defense, not that it was needed. And I think Preparation H really may be the best solution for troll removal in this case.
@txGreg- I certainly didn't mean to imply that you were undercutting Whittle's presentation in any way. And a certain amount of what happened that night will always remain a mystery, even to George Zimmerman (who had no first hand way of knowing if Trayvon actually DID make it to his father's residence, then turned around with the goal of Whooping Ass - though that squares with the evidence and timeline).
One thing is for sure: the prevailing media narrative was not true - and neither is Barack Obama's claim that this case is a reason for us to "search our souls" about America's history of racism.
Neighbourhood vigilante, eh? Neighbourhood - we yanks just don't spell it like that. A few conjectures:
ReplyDelete• Possibility Number 1: Ted can't spell worth a damn - but this isn't borne out in the majority of his posts.
• Possibility Number 2: Ted copies his material directly from the likes of Piers Morgan - but I'm not sure Piers writes anything. Run his mouth off on TV: sure, but write? Not so sure. Nothing I've seen (or have looked for, mind you), anyway...
• Possibility Number 3: Ted, like Piers Morgan, ain't from these here parts, and should keep his foreign $%^&ing nose out of the US's business.
Wonder which it is?
(And, for the record, the article I sent y'all off on, Stilton wasn't about deferring the corporate or individual mandate as much as it was about how Øbamacare has little to do with providing or reducing the costs of healthcare but has everything to do with the destruction of The Constitution though all of The Øne's edicts while the other two branches allow him to roll over them. Just sayin'...)
BREAKING NEWS! BREAKING NEWS!!
ReplyDelete7-23-13 1515 PST:
Moochelle Obama, in a rare press conference today from Martha's Vineyard, spoke about the new scandal surrounding Anthony Weiner and the just released pics/texts concerning his 'wiener'. Mrs. Obama stated that "If Barack Hussein Obama had a wiener, it would look just like Weiners'. No further details were available at press time.

ReplyDeleteStilton! that pic purporting to be Ted's mom ...... you are one sick puppy! I admire that!
ReplyDelete@Emmentaler- Yeah, that extra "u" in "neighbourhood" seemed like a tipoff. I'm guessing that he doesn't hail from America (if he's even here now) and so really, really, really doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.
ReplyDeleteAnd my apologies for not reading your link in enough depth to pick up on the real meat (I won't lie - I skimmed it and got caught). What you and the article are saying certainly strikes a responsive chord with me, though - I've been saying on these pages for YEARS that Obamacare has nothing to do with healthcare, and everything to do with locking in political power while redistributing wealth.
@David in SoCal- I'm using that "news story" as a jumping off point for a little bonus cartoon for Wednesday. Thanks!
@Emmentaler- Weiner's name is the gift that keeps on giving for comics. Of course, it HELPS that he apparently has continued sending pictures of Weiner Junior all over the place. What a freaking sicko.
@John the Econ- Every time I here "weiner and spitzer," it sounds like a sex act. Maybe the very one that Monica tried and ruined her dress.
@George in Houtx- Hey, it's not for us to judge his Mom's personal habits or hygiene (although I'm pretty annoyed at her failure to use birth control when it most mattered).
