New York Crimes
After an in-depth 15 month investigation, the NY Times has issued a groundbreaking exclusive report that says the brutal terror attacks in Benghazi had nothing to do with Al Qaeda, nothing to do with the anniversary of 9/11, and were in fact caused by a spontaneous outpouring of anger over an anti-Islamic video which had been on Youtube for months without anyone paying attention to it.
In other words, the NY Times is printing complete and utter bullshit (more so than usual, even) for the sole purpose of jumpstarting the rehabilitation of Hillary "What does it matter?" Clinton just in time for the kickoff of her presidential run.
The article, based on unnamed sources seemingly from Mars, blatantly ignores all of the evidence we already do know about the (ahem) WELL PLANNED TERRORIST ATTACK which took four American lives, left others gravely injured, and pretty much signaled the end of the United States as a meaningful player in the Middle East owing to the Obama administration's feckless (and fecked-up) non-response to the bloodletting.
Despite their alleged 15 month investigation, the NY Times still hasn't been able to answer one of the most pressing questions about the horrific night: where was Obama and what (or who) was he doing instead of giving a rat's ass about a US Ambassador being sodomized and murdered?!
The Whitehouse has already issued its blessing on the NY Times account of the debacle, which is hardly surprising since it was probably ghostwritten by a well-paid Bill Ayres.
But happily, there is still some integrity and honesty in journalism. Specifically, Hope n' Change is being entirely honest when we say that we're cutting this commentary short because this story has given us a pounding headache and a growing need to upchuck what might well be blood.
Our own, that is - as opposed to the blood of Americans which is now on the hands of the NY Times.

Yep - just more BS from the fish wrap of record/bird cage liner. The Clinton machine will not allow Saint Hillary to be brought to justice, thus leaving her Sec of State position gives them two years of spin to shift the blame.

Ms. Keating, I am a reporter working on this story for the New York Times. I would like to discuss with you where and how you obtained these photographs.

OT: Damn - Cowboys under Orton almost looked like a football team!
Who gives a crap who did it. Four Americans died, and it happened on her watch. If four people on my job, of which I were in charge, were killed it wouldn't be pretty. At best I'd be fired... at worst I'd go to jail. What, she's something special?
ReplyDelete@Grumpy Curmudgeon- I got a good laugh (or maybe I was sobbing; there was definitely emotion involved) at the "how to be a reporter" primer you linked to. Frankly, I think the big "15-month investigation" the NY Times is claiming probably boils down to finding a 15-month old copy of the Whitehouse talking points in the bottom of a desk drawer.
ReplyDelete@Duke Mantee- While I agree that political heads should have rolled (metaphorically, at least) no matter who attacked, the question of whether there was an Al Qaeda connection is vastly important. Barry was in full campaign mode at the time, and almost the only "positive" he could run on was the alleged defeat of Al Qaeda. Which is why he sent Susan Rice out to lie about those responsible for the attack, why he personally lied about it on the floor of the United Nations, and why no really meaningful investigation or follow-up action was ever initiated by this White House.
Supposedly they've named the individual who planned the attack. He's been interviewed by multiple reporters. Last I remember he was sitting in an open air restaurant or something. He'll get droned at the proper political moment.
ReplyDeleteIt took them 15 months to think up a good lie? They are slacking - they used to be able to do it a week or so, sometimes in just a day.
ReplyDeleteWell, it looks like the NYT has done the political calculus, and determined that doubling-down on the phony narrative won't trash what's left of their reputation with their hard-core followers too much. And they're clearly confident that the non-Fox media will follow their lead, as usual. I'm not too surprised.
ReplyDeleteWhat I think that most people don't get as the most offensive aspect of the Benghazi narrative is that it actually places the blame for the attack on America, or more specifically, our Constitutionally protected right of free speech. The less-than-subtle implication is that in a "kinder, gentler, better controlled" world, government should be able to "control" such potentially destructive speech before bad things happen.
I've long argued that Benghazi and Fast & Furious will not be the undoing of Obama, simply because they correlate to little direct effect upon the lives of your average NYT reader. ObamaCare, on the other hand, will be both inescapable and devastating to them. Note to the GOP: If in the future, you want to have a shot against the Hillary people, you'll need to grow some balls, have a believable agenda for the Middle East, and not be squeamish about going after Hillary on this. Squishies need not apply.
Speaking of ObamaCare, the other day the Administration proudly announced that "over a million" people will have have signed up by the end of the year. Who hoo! Basically, what that really means is that four-some million more people are uninsured than last year, due to their losing their coverage because of ObamaCare. And many who got new coverage are paying much more, and getting far less for their dollar.
Oh, and speaking of doubling-down on a failing agenda, have you been following that ship stuck in the ice at Antarctica?
http://wattsupwiththat.com/2013/12/29/saving-the-antarctic-scientists-er-media-er-activists-er-tourists-trapped-by-sea-ice/
Yeah, the ship is carrying a bunch of "global warmists" there to "investigate" and "raise awareness" about supposedly diminishing sea ice.
Irony is a bitch.
What is this NY Times of which you speak? From one who had a Sunday subscription many years ago, I wouldn't wipe my ass with that rag.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of the NYT cheerleading for hillary's 2016 campaign, recent polls have showed her essentially neck and neck with Chris Christie in a presumptive '16 presidential race I know, I know ... I'm not a Christie fan either).
ReplyDeleteShortly after the poll was released the Times published a hatchet job on Christie.
Coincidence...? I think not.
@Earl- If the person who planned the attack is affiliated with Al Qaeda, he'll probably be killed/droned without any publicity so that his death won't call attention to the White House lies. If not, then you're right that Barry and Valerie Jarrett are probably going to let him continue committing terrorist attacks until a politically opportune time to kill him.
ReplyDelete@Jim Hlavac- Actually, it didn't take them 15 months to make up doodly squat: it's the same lie that the White House started pushing on Day One.
@John the Econ- You really hit one of my hot buttons here: Obama went to the United Nations and attacked our constitutionally guaranteed freedom of speech, and added "the future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam." He might just as well have hung a "Mission Accomplished" banner over the burned out ruins in Benghazi, to praise the "spontaneous mob" for a job well done.
And you're right that of all the dozens and dozens of reasons that Obama should be thrown out of office, it's Obamacare that is most likely to bite him. Real people are being hurt really badly - and the story is about to get a lot worse.
As for the global warming people stuck in the ice, they've certainly accomplished their goal of raising awareness about the Antarctic climate. It's just too bad that Al Gore won't be with them when they go "Donner party" on each other.
@TrickyRicky- The NY Times being journalistically horrible isn't news at all... but when they lie about Benghazi, my blood boils.
@CenTexTim- I'm pretty tired of liberals trying to pick our candidates years ahead of time.
Yeh,Stilt, you're right. It's gonna get a lot worse. There is absolutely NOTHING and NO ONE to slow Obama down, call him on the carpet, crap, no one even has the balls yet to get on tv and even SAY, in strong terms, what he is up to! This really is a hopeless situation with this Marxist in the People's House. Feel like spittin up a little blood myself, while our Dear Leader is off spending our hard-earned money on yet ANOTHER EXTRAVAGANT VACATION!
ReplyDeleteI'm Pissed? naaaaaahhh
Gotta mention this...there is a couple of movies called "Left Behind", Christian movies...I've read some of the books but the movie was on a christian channel couple days ago...ya wanna great portrayal of Obama? Catch that movie and watch the guy playing the 'anti-christ'...it was eerie, but it was Obama!
"...It's just too bad that Al Gore won't be with them when they go "Donner party" on each other."
ReplyDeleteIf Owl Gore was along, they wouldn't have to go all "Donner party" on each other; his carcass would feed the whole party all winter. Summer. Whatever it is there.
OoooOOoo, what a shocker; the NYT carrying water for Billary?! 'Scuse me while I catch my breath after the total "didn't see THAT one coming" moment.
ReplyDeleteI guess the good thing is, the only people that read this rag are already zombies who died from excessive KoolAid comsumption, and anybody else that happens across the breaking report gleaned from NYT's vast and comprehensive investigation (i.e. 15 minutes of looking through old Susan Rice blatherings) will dismiss it as us Hope'n'Changers have. Still, it makes me nauseous to think that so many Americans are so totally clueless.
@PRY,
I have read the whole Tim LaHaye "Left Behind" series, and yes, Nicolae Carpathia is Obama, and vice versa. Bible Scholars normally say that the antichrist will come from the East, and not the United States, but....
How nice of Barry and Moochelle Soetoro to take time out of their never ending vacation, to attend the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, DC last night. Think about this kids: It costs $182,000.00 tax payer dollars per hour to operate Air Force One, NOT including all the support/security/other equipment that goes with it. I takes about 12 hours(one way) to get to Washington(District of Corruption) from Oahu.
ReplyDeleteThat's $182,000.00 X 24 hours = $4,380,000.00....JUST for Air Force One. One would hope another 20 million Americans sign up for Oidon'tcare to pay for that one.
I realize that Dear Leader works very hard here at home; playing golf and avoiding domestic/foreign affairs; and needs a vacation to play golf and avoid domestic/foreign affairs; but damn.
Great comments all, especially the Gore/global Warming ones. My open ended question is when will someone start seriously pointing out that Obama doesn't really care if the ACA works. Doesnt he and his party have more invested in the failure in order to institute their single payer plan?
ReplyDeleteAs prezzy Ø says "I very rarely use the truth but when I do the nyt has my version of it."
ReplyDeleteDavid in SoCal, what gets me is that Obama has no compulsion to lecturing people about their "carbon footprint", even to those who don't have nice homes or automobiles. But then he jets about in Air Force One with the casualness of a suburban soccer mom headed to the grocery store. The self-unawareness of pious liberals never ceases to amaze me. Does he not see this, or does he just not care? Which is worse?
ReplyDelete@pfdr, it's long been the opinion of myself and many others here that ObamaCare was specifically designed not only to not-work, but to destroy what is left of the marketplace for private insurance and health care itself in America. The far-left has made absolutely no secret that its ultimate goal is a "single payer" regime, totally run and controlled by the government. But in classical Marxist tradition, they know that can't happen until the old system has been completely destroyed, and we're all left desperate for a replacement which they will be happy to provide. At that point, we will be their slaves. Literally.
Econ Juan: Omoneywaster cares NOT about how many trillions of taxpayer $'s are spent while steam-rolling his way over the peasants to get HIS way. Almost all of his actions and lack of empathy can be linked directly to his Narcissistic core; made even worse by the adulation of the Media, and all the suck-butts he surrounds himself with. I think this was up before, but well worth the long read, and VERY telling about who Omemememyselfi really is:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.faithfreedom.org/obama.html
Dear Leader is a master at rubbing it in our faces; how many times in each of his speeches does he feel the need to remind us that HE is President; or HE is Commander in Chief; or HE was elected by an 'overwhelming' margin? Like duh; more than we care to count.
And no; I'm not a Psychiatrist, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express one time.
@each and every one: Mrs. SoCal and I would like to wish you ALL a New Year filled with family/friends and good health. PLEASE don't drink and drive; although I plan on drinking and driving......my wife crazy!
We are truly blessed to have a sanity retreat like the one Stilton has so generously provided. Bless you and yours Dr. Jarlsberg, and may the New Year bless you with a never ending supply of wit/wisdom and cartoon genius; just like all the years before.
@Readers- Great comments above. I don't really have anything else to add just now, as I'm drinking real coffee and trying to think about what to post tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteAlthough BEFORE I do a cartoon, I need to run out and see if there are any incandescent bulbs left on the shelves before they become illegal tomorrow.
Thanks for ANOTHER great posting, Dr. J. I'm giving up and will start reblogging from you. OUTSTANDING!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! I can't wait to see what you have for us that'll be coming up!

The NYT is biased? You're saying that Minitru is giving us agitprop instead of news?
ReplyDeleteReally? Next you'll be saying crazy stuff like water is wet, and oldthinkers unbellyfeel Ingsoc. Remember, we have always been at war with Eastasia.
Do they think the zombie apocalypse has arrived and we have ALL lost our minds?! Truly galling!
