Charmin Offensive

obama, obama jokes, political, humor, cartoon, conservative, hope n' change, hope and change, stilton jarlsberg, hillary, nae nae, iran, refugees
When the Democrats make Comedy College free, we hope to get enough course credits to move beyond the sophomoric.
The company which was holding Hillary Clinton's email server now acknowledges that it may not have been "wiped" after all. And of course, if Hillary didn't wipe, she also didn't wash her hards of potentially incriminating evidence, all of which means that the few supporters who are turning out to shake her withered talons are likely to be exposing themselves to a nasty dose of email e-coli. Or, uh, something.

See, that's about as close as we can get to making jokes today. Hope n' Change still hasn't pulled out of our annual 9/11 black mood (and yes, friends, #BlackMoodsMatter) - especially when we see the continuing idiocy and lack of seriousness in the news.

For instance, while we're of the opinion that Hillary should be huddled in the corner of a dank prison cell fighting the other rats over stale bread crumbs and fetid water, she just appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show to dance the "Nae Nae," whatever the living hell that is (we chose to say "nay, nay" rather than actually watch the video. We're hanging on by a thread already.)

Meanwhile, Iran just "happened" by wild coincidence to discover that they were sitting on a huge, previously unreported supply of uranium ore - right after Obama and the Dems sealed the deal to (ahem) "cripple" Iran's nuclear ambitions by making it harder for them to obtain uranium from outside their borders. Oopsie!

And of course, Europe is drowning in Muslim refugees who will forever change the culture and demographics of their new homelands. And that's the best case scenario which assumes that the refugees, 72% of whom are males under 40, aren't serving as a cover for a flood of head-chopping, child-raping, Christian-crucifying ISIS whackjobs. (See, this is why the motto on the Statue of Liberty specifically says to give us your tired and your poor rather than your angry young militants.)

So excuse us for misplacing our sense of humor temporarily, but it will soon be back. The sky is still blue, the grass green, we live in the greatest country on Earth, and that's nothing to sniff at.

As Bill said to Hillary just before she threw a lamp at him.

  2. And sadly when ISIS starts rampaging through Europe we truly will have WWIII and the politicians will be scratching their collective heads wondering how it all came to pass. And it could be that the rampage will include the USA as well. Just how long will we (and by 'we' I don't mean 'us') allow the infiltrating fifth column to go on?

  3. I spent four months hitch-hiking and riding trains around Europe and North Africa when I was 17, just out of high school. Ten years later I returned to ski in the Chamonix area with four high school friends. Its been 31 years, and I can't imagine returning. Perhaps central and Eastern Europe have the intestinal fortitude to defend their culture and their sovereignty, western Europe is toast.

  4. We lived in Italy for 10 years when the hubs was stationed there - loved it - our son was born in Italy. I have had a hankering to return to Italy for the longest time but this Administration has cured me of that. Europe is no more; they are now a Caliphate and they are planning the same thing for us unless we, the people, are vigilant and we must be because Congress is busy selling us out.

  5. My wife pointed out one day during some news coverage on the influx of Syrians into Europe, that it seemed like most of the "refugees" were young males and children. Where the heck are the women and old people? Could these "refugees" just be ISIS fighters bringing along their adolescent shields.

Perhaps TrickyRicky is right... For years, many Western European countries have been letting the Islamists slowly infiltrate their society, one big influx could be the tipping point. And how many Western European have the military means to fight back, even if they come to the conclusion that they need to fight back? Maybe Germany and England? ISIS could take over countries like Sweden or Austria without firing a shot.

  6. Oh well, none of this may matter after the 23rd of this month. That is when CERN fully powers up the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland. Many believe it will have the potential to either create a black hole and thereby completely destroy the planet or possibly open an inter-dimensional portal allowing the Anti-Christ or other nasty entities to cross over and we all know how much the government hates competition.
Naturally, just like with the Manhattan Project where almost half of the scientists involved thought the first atomic detonation could cause a chain reaction with all matter on the planet, they will go ahead and do it anyway.

  8. I was fortunate to have visited New Orleans before it was mostly destroyed. I am happy to have seen it the "old way". I also toured Europe before all of this mess started. I am happy to have seen it the "old way". It is a sad state that this world has gotten into, but I am not surprised. It was forecast a couple of thousand years ago. "As in the days of Noah, so shall it be before the coming of the Son of Man. I am trusting in God's plan, not in myself, but I am ready and waiting. God is still in charge no matter how bad it gets and He is the answer.

  10. Since the "server" story has been constantly evolving since we first heard about it early this year, it's hard to know if this is relevant or just more obfuscation. One thing that does seem certain now is that there was more than a single physical machine involved. By my current understanding of the story, there may have been as many as 3. The first was the "basement" server at Chappaqua. At some point, it may have been moved to the Clinton Foundation's headquarters at Harlem where it shared an IP address with the Clin ton Foundation. And then we learned that it was supposedly transferred to a bathroom at a very small Internet Service Provider.

So there may be at least 2 to 3 physical machines involved, and perhaps even more "virtual" instances of these machines stored somewhere. And if any even moderately competent IT people were involved, then there should be some backups of these machines as well.

Also, remember that any particular e-mail doesn't only exist on a single server, but on the servers managing the e-mail of everyone Hillary communicated with. So much of that deleted e-mail does exist somewhere. It's just a matter of reconstituting it.

But as I've said here many times before, none of this should matter at all. The fact remains that Hillary with foresight and intent, deliberately acted to subvert established policy and law by taking the steps to operate a server for the sole purpose of evading that policy and law. High-priced DC legal wonks can debate until the cows come home the legal or criminal implications of this, but the fact remains that Hillary did not want what was on this server ever to be public, and is fundamentally dishonest. Nobody goes to this much trouble unless they've got something to hide.

My opinion are that the only "yoga routines" erased from that server were the ones required to contort the narrative.

Hillary on Ellen: Proof she's now fun and spontaneous!

  11. Iran's New Surprise: Oh, this is nothing. I have no doubt there will be plenty of surprises now that this is supposedly a done deal.

Last night, I watched a documentary on PBS, The Bomb. Expecting the typical left-biased "no nukes" narrative one usually gets from PBS, I was pleasantly surprised by this very well balanced and historically accurate story of the development of the nuclear bomb and its history up though the Cold War. (I consider myself an amateur historian on the topic - If you are interested in this topic, the whole documentary is available at the above link)

One of the more surprising points they made were about the Reykjavík Summit between Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev in 1986. They actually had praise for Reagan in negotiating the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty with the Soviets, something totally unexpected in a PBS documentary. The not-so-subtle lesson from this historical event was that Reagan was negotiating from a position of strength; not weakness or desperation. US military strength and respect in global affairs had been restored from the malaise of 5 years earlier. Not only could the Soviet Union could no longer afford expansionist agenda of the previous 40 years, it was faced with the well-played "Star Wars" bluff that it could not possibly counter, either technically or economically. They needed the deal more than we did.

Compare that to Obama's Iran deal, which is totally forged out of weakness and desperation. There is no "trust", and there is no viable "verify". Like with the failed Clinton deal with North Korea 20 years ago, Iran gets everything they want up-front with little viable consequence for backing out at any future date. In all likelihood, they already have everything they need for their bomb, except for the financial resources to deploy it. And now we've given them that.

And finally, paying the price for inaction: Europe is being invaded, except in the age of political correctness, this time the invaders are welcomed with open arms. (at least by the elite who can afford to segregate themselves from the immediate implications) And as @Stilton said, contrary to the news coverage which prefers to show pathetic women and children, 72% are, in fact, young males, who in any other society you'd think would be staying behind to defend their homeland. Instead, they're headed to the countries with the best welfare benefits, which all too often only end up funding jihad against the overly generous host country.

Today, Europe is largely a museum to western civilization's greatness. Judging on how ISIS is treating the history of its conquered territories, soon Europe won't even be that.

  12. Oh, and I almost forgot the punchline:

While Europe (and to a lesser extent, the US) is being pressured to accept ultimately more than a million refugees, it's interesting to note the countries that absolutely will not be accepting them. Some countries, like Russia have had enough trouble with the Muslims, and flat-out say that through policy. Japan doesn't have a Muslim problem because it very strictly controls immigration, and isn't about to change that now.

The rich Persian Gulf countries aren't interested in them either. (Any more than they were ever interested in accepting the Palestinians) But at least one, Saudi Arabia is offering Germany some help:

Saudi Arabia offers Germany 200 mosques – one for every 100 refugees who arrived last weekend

Just what Germany and Europe needs more of.

  14. @Fred Ciampi, it won't be "WWIII", but "WWIV". Under Ronald Reagan, we won WWIII. (1945-1989) It may be generations (if ever) before the writers of history books can openly proclaim this; certainly not until long after the current generation of Progressives are dead and faded from living memory. The notion that the Progressive boomer generation was completely wrong about their dovish approach to the Soviet Union will forever grate at the souls of those who can no longer deny the realities of their mis-spent youth. The missiles were never launched. (In fact, the closest they ever actually came to being launched was under the leadership of their former hero, JFK)

The reality was that the Soviets didn't want to die any more than we wanted to. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of the fanatics of Islam.

  15. I'm with you, my friend...bummmmmed at the state of things...however, I do believe they will get better...but probably not in our lifetimes, and after much hardship that will really test peoples souls.
And we think it's difficult now...

  18. And don't believe for a second that there is not an "invasion" taking place. The "refugee crisis" is a classic Trojan Horse filled with military-aged males being wheeled right into the heart of western Europe:

ISIS Terrorist Arrested in Stuttgart “Refugee” Center; “Boxes” of Fake Syrian Passports Intercepted

"An ISIS terrorist posing as an “asylum seeker” has been arrested by German police in a “refugee” center in Stuttgart, and German customs officers have seized boxes containing Syrian passports being smuggled into Europe."

The EU is politically paralyzed over how to deal with this problem. The last thing the political squishy class wants is to appear xenophobic, since "multiculturalism" nears the top of the Progressive Values Hierarchy, right after "pacifism". But they also know that the average European citizen see nothing good about welcoming countless more Muslims into their midst, who ultimately will be competing for jobs and benefits in their precious social democracies. My prediction is something I've been warning the squishies about for decades; that their unwillingness and/or inability to address these problems will feed the rise of fascist regimes that will be more than happy to do so, ultimately utilizing methodologies that most people will find most discomforting.

Sooner or later, the same will happen in the US. Trump may just be the beginning.

  20. I can't help but think much of the root basis for ALL THIS is whatever multitude of changes have slowly but clearly occurred in our culture that allows generations to grow up thinking we ara all so very bright, right & entitled. Every kid makes the team, everyone plays, there are no hard knocks, no failures, no one is wrong, everyone deserves a piece of what everyone else may have, babies get to make decisions, everyone is a decider, and people who have kids shall have them (and their own bad habits) cared for whether they can personally provide for them or not. Life used to be a series of meeting increasing challenges and goals. Now it's about being connected, entertained, independent even though they are far from that, in-vogue and most important: able to bust a good move. It's all quite ridiculous.

  21. Great comment, Rod. I'll send this to my yuppie kids who have two great kids who are unfortunate enough to live in Silicon Valley, where values are no longer easy to define---at least according to those of us who tend to live in a more "real" world outside of the privileged conclave, and who have lived far longer than most.

We "dinosaurs" remember when we had to be responsible for our mistakes and poor decisions. Sadly, the political infrastructure has evolved into a retrogression of a culture that was once far more vibrant and innovative social-wise. I hate to include Sanders in that group; he obviously missed the boat, and even more surprising: his idiotic ideology is followed by the very people you described. God help us!
