For instance, not guns from the former were ever "lost" as every single gun from the later was. No deaths resulted from the former (mostly due to none of the "gun walker" guns being "lost"), hundreds of deaths resulted from the latter as those "lost" guns were used freely by the criminals who bought them. "Gun walker" was executed by a very capable DOJ in conjunction with Mexican authorities. "Fast and furious" was executed by Holder's DOJ (nothing more need be said there...), and no-one on the Mexican side of the border admits to having been aware of the effort. So, what's all this crap being spewed about BUSH BUSH BUSH BUSH? But it's surprising and depressing how many people (on both sides of the aisle) don't know this. I had some little libby moron recently link to a story on the Forbes.com blog that Obama was the lowest spending president since Eisenhower, and she presented it like she had just laid down a royal flush. So I tried to correct her, but I'm sure she left full of smug self-satisfaction, convinced that I can't deal with (ahem) "facts."

This being the case, and despite my immense love of the First Amendment, I think it may be time for us to consider making it a crime to promulgate utter bullshit.Stilton Jarlsberghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14503164551782304564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8993108951931633758.post-85980425650706981882012-09-22T19:42:35.182-05:002012-09-22T19:42:35.182-05:00I find it funny when some AH crows that the libera...I find it funny when some AH crows that the liberal, lying mainstream media has thoughtfully pointed out some "fact"...Emmentaler Limburgerhttp://pateratic.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8993108951931633758.post-73424032229377118282012-09-22T13:28:46.875-05:002012-09-22T13:28:46.875-05:00@elcedar- I'm still not sure how Bush created ...@elcedar- I'm still not sure how Bush created a program when he was out of office, or how Holder shut it down without knowing about it. I guess I'm just a little slow.

@Noelegy- Doesn't "field initiated program" mean "created and run without any supervision?" And when a system like that leads to hundreds of deaths, should we ask WHY there was no supervision?

@Mike Porter- I'll admit that I could use some time off to regain my equilibrium. Although currently, I'm just accepting the reality of uninterrupted anger and urgency through election day.

@Coon Tasty- It's no shock that Libs don't like that cartoon, but interestingly they don't even understand it because they're almost entirely unaware of the laundry list of things that we're pissed off about. Granted, we've got all the documentation in the world, but the Libs have never even heard of these stories.

Case in point: when Jug-ears McFustercluck invoked executive privilege to cover up the "Fast & Furious" scandal, mainstream news outlets had a hard time reporting on it because they'd never mentioned Fast & Furious to their readers and viewers.

And on a side note, I think "humour" looks far more sophisticated than "humor." And yeah, lefties, I sure do understand it.

@Pete(Detroit)- While the image of "Witch Doctor" Obama pushes the limits (and isn't where I'd go), it's not an invalid bit of symbology. After all, Obama is adding tens of millions of people to medical programs, taking hundres of billions of dollars out of those medical programs, and driving doctors and hospitals out of business. In other words, the very essence of Obamacare is that some kind of freaking magic is supposed to happen which will cause doctors to work for free, and hospitals to give services for free. It makes no more sense than dancing around a fire or shaking rattles to ward off evil spirits.

@Coon Tasty- Judging on the Elizabeth Warren scale, a person is a Native American if she is 100% White and 1/28th delusional. So I think that pretty safely makes Barry 100% African-American. Despite his college girlfriend observing "he didn't have a black bone in his body." I'm pretty sure Barry didn't see that question coming from a theoretically "friendly" outlet. But incompetence should be no defense for Holder. He should be fired immediately.

@TrickyRicky- Just between us folks here in the private electronic backwater of an actual blog, I really don't like the Facebook experience. It's a necessary evil if I want to get the cartoons out to as many people as possible, but when people "share" my cartoons on Facebook, they end up in the hands of offended liberals who then write on my page and call me a hater, a racist, or an idiot. Which I should just laugh off, but I actually try to engage with a few of these people to try to show them the error of their ways (or, if they're really annoying, slap them down like the insects they are). But it's exhausting and something of a fool's errand to try reasoning with hardcore liberals.

@Pete(Detroit)- Hey, I like that Bruce Lee analogy! I'm genuinely a nice, non-confrontational guy. But you do not want to get up in my grill, as the homeboys say, and try to win a battle of verbal smackdowns.

Regarding F&F, this report stinks to high heaven. We need external investigators tearing into this and real accountability. There's blood in the streets - a LOT of it - and resignations, retirements, and claims of ignorance aren't satisfactory.

@Colby- Holder knows that Romney's election is the only thing which will drag him from office, which is why Holder has been out trying to gut voter ID laws and revving up black audiences about nonexistent Jim Crow laws.

Regarding Facebook, ANYONE can visit my page - you don't have to be a Facebook member to read (just to post, like, or share). If you go to Facebook.com/HopeNChangeCartoons you can take a look at some of the back and forth commentary.

@Angry Hoosier Dad- The time-consuming problem on Facebook is that I can't just call liberals stupid - I make a point of proving it. And unsurprisingly, once a liberal has danced with me online, they never come back to try it again.

@Emmentaler- I post all of the HnC cartoons and most of the bonus stuff right here.
