In Texas, Representative Chet Edwards, using the word “lie” three times, accuses his rival in an advertisement of claiming that he voted in a recent election when polling records said he did not. In New Jersey, Representative John Adler accused his challenger, also in an advertisement, of buying a donkey so he could call his house a farm and get a tax break on it.

“In 2008, there was this sense of hope and this sense of being able to change the world,” said Representative Zack Space, Democrat of Ohio. “A lot of that enthusiasm doesn’t exist now, and I think a lot of that is a result of having been in a recession for two years.”

“Voters,” he said, “will ultimately hold the party in power responsible,” said Pennsylvania Republican Mike Fitzpatrick.pryorguynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8993108951931633758.post-49078753740841810142010-09-05T12:22:20.048-05:002010-09-05T12:22:20.048-05:00Obama's party has very little (if any) succes...Obama's party has very little (if any) success stories to campaign with. Notice that the above numbers are a week after he returned from vacation. Last week, those numbers were 40% Strong Disapproval & -12% Approval Index Daily Rating.

Seems like seeing him in campaign mode or acting like a celebrity boosts his numbers, but when it comes to doing Presidential things, people get turned off.alan markushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04376679777650939602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8993108951931633758.post-81603191635984336432010-09-05T10:08:25.868-05:002010-09-05T10:08:25.868-05:00While Obama does his "tee" time, let'...While Obama does his "tee" time, let's double our efforts to do some "tea" time before November 2.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8993108951931633758.post-70115037575929709052010-09-05T09:24:17.665-05:002010-09-05T09:24:17.665-05:00But Suzy, he is not a real President. Since he has turned over the keys to his socialist golf cart to the toadying progressives in his foursome, he does not actually have to be around, except to sign the bills into law. They were already written years ago and have been kept, hermetically sealed, in a mayonnaise jar in Stalin's refrigerator waiting for the chance to unleash them on a properly primed sheeple. That chance came in 2009. We can only pray that the sheeple are ready to bleat a different tune this November. If they aren't, and we don't hack our way out of this trap, we may not get a Mulligan in 2012.
