Shovel Ready

Continuing their indoctrination of the American public, the NY Times tells why it's critically important that the Obama administration starts rationing healthcare, and saying "no" to life-extending treatments for people who are old or (just guessing here) conservative.

Seriously, "dying with dignity" (and no expensive treatment) is already getting a PR spin to make it seem noble and even a patriotic duty.

  2. So scary and I can't believe people are swallowing all this stuff!!!!

  3. Philip, Joe Biden and Barack Obama say the same things, but Barack wraps his pronouncements in soaring (and unintelligible) rhetoric, while good ol' Joe just makes simple statements that are "in your face" preposterous.

But why doesn't the media care (or report) that the VICE PRESIDENT is saying that America is on the verge of bankruptcy?

  4. Now, no matter what this failed administration will do or won't do, the inflation will come soon.

American people will hate the Communist rabble rouser Obama.

  6. I think considering the amount of horse manure this administration is spreading, we have enough "shovel ready" jobs!

  7. Larry Summers claims success because fewer people searching "economic depression" on Google.

Perhaps the number of searches is down because people are learning what 'economic depression' means in real life, first hand, so they no longer need to look it up on Google. I can't believe how inept this administration is.

    The Gipper said :

"A recession is when your neighbor loses his job. A depression is when you lose yours. And recovery is when Jimmy Carter loses his."

  8. I had to laugh (not the happy kind of laugh) when reading the "good news" that fewer people are Googling the exact phrase "economic depression."

No report on how many people are Googling terms like "political disaster," "economic meltdown," "abandon hope," and "torches and pitchforks."

  9. The NY Times article is by Peter Singer, professor of bioethics at Princeton university, one of America's most prestigious insane asylums, and "is best known for his book 'Animal Liberation,' widely regarded as the touchstone of the animal liberation movement." -wikipedia

In America, they came first for the 85-year-olds, And I didn't speak up because I wasn't 85; And then they came for the 75-year-olds, And I didn't speak up because I wasn't 75,...

  10. JAC, thanks for the comments...and I particularly like your "they came first for the 85-year-olds" analogy.

Right now, not enough young people are speaking up because they think they're being offered free healthcare...and if a few old farts have to take the dirt nap sooner than necessary, it's worth it. Apparently "empathy" is more important on the Supreme Court than in the general populace.
