Keith Me, You Fool

In a shocking,
shocking revelation unmatched since the discovery of gambling in the backroom of "Rick's Café Américain," alleged news channel MSNBC has suspended host Keith Olbermann for making secret cash donations to Democrat candidates.

Olbermann, best known for borderline-psychotic spit-flinging vein-bulging diatribes against conservatives, contributed the money to candidates he was "impartially" interviewing on his own show - which MSNBC president Phil Griffin said was an unacceptable breach of journalistic independence.

This is the same journalistic independence, by the way, that positions Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow, and Ed
"I'm going to torch this f*cking place" Schultz as impartial, center-of-the-road newscasters.

While it would be nice to think that Mr. Olbermann has made his last appearance on television, we fully expect him to be sullying the airwaves again soon. It's the only way MSNBC can stop him from posting rabid tweets saying that his former boss is
"The Worst Person In The World."

  1. MSNBC has "standards"? Who knew? Apparently not even Keith!

Much preferred him as the sports reporter for KTLA in LA 10+ years ago. Was my favorite back then. Clearly something snapped at some point.

  2. Conservatives (and some RINOs) lined up hoping to be the next Worst Person in the World. That was a badge of honor. Wherever this fleck of infected spittle ends up I hope he continues that unintentionally humorous bit.

  4. Makes you wonder where NPR and now MSNBC get their alleged journalistic codes of ethics. They spout (past tense of spit) liberal vindictiveness all the time. The hypocrisy is amusing to watch. It's also clear that the liberal media's worship of political correctness is morally hollow. It's an easier path to take and avoids all that hard work involved in trying to find the true and often messy facts involved in any issue.

  5. My understanding is that the problem is not that he donated, but that he didn't tell the boss first.

    Whatever

  6. Folks, these guys at npr and msnbc are but the visible socialists that we share this great country with...the most visible being the president, and, gosh arent they giddy that they have one of their own in the whitehouse now!

Rest assured, though, although they are in the minority, there are many regular folks running around who are this radical and more, who have the strangest ideas about what a great country this is. You would swear they want to ruin it, and for the life of me I cannot figure out why! Is not this their home too?

I say they go to some country whose regime is already where they all want to take us and let them experience it first hand,(if they survive it), and then come crawling back all the wiser for it! Don't think for a minute they want to give up the freedoms they enjoy here as Americans, so thats what I dont understand!

  7. Pryorguy, I don't get it either. Just like I don't get what could possibly entice a woman to convert to Islam ... but it happens none the less. Actually, I don't get what entices ANYONE to convert to Islam (of their own free will) but I'd love to know what the attraction is!?!

I'm convinced that most liberals/progressives/nut cases really believe in the snake oil they are peddling, and honestly don't get the disconnect between their socialist utopian dream and reality. "The Only Reason Socialism Hasn't Worked Is That The Right People Haven't Been In Charge" syndrome (TORSHWITTRPHBIC). This is followed closely by: "We Are The Ones We've Been Waiting For" (WATOWBWF).

  9. The reason the socialists won't leave America and want to change America is, they know that if they leave, they won't be in charge of anything. If they bring the curse of socialism here, they know that SOMEBODY still has to run things and they expect it will be them. In other words, it's a power junkie thing.

  10. Perfect. The Claude Raines reaction is the only reasonable reaction.
One wonders what DID offend MSNBC, they've been very contented with letting the braying fool be their voice. Certainly never did anything in his off-hours to off-set his voice.

There cannot be any money left to lose over their pretentiousness, at this stage of their demise...

Maybe his contract is just too fat when they can get cheaper screachers to do the same thing.

  11. I think it's the concept of "American Exceptionalism" that makes them believe that socialism can work here. The strange thing is that "American Exceptionalism" is a concept that they otherwise reject on any other topic.

  12. Readers- Quick update; MSNBC has decided that Olbermann has suffered long enough and learned his lesson...so they're putting him back on the air after only two workdays. So it would seem that their "standards" aren't really all that important after all. What a surprise.

  13. MSNBC ... Standards? ... Puleeze!!! This was a publicity stunt from start to finish, and nothing more. Because of it, he'll have his LARGEST audience EVER on Tuesday when he will TRY, somehow and without effect, to reel in more regular viewers (both of his current regular viewers were complaining that it’s lonely at the bottom).

Still, I’m glad he’ll be back. He is an excellent lightning rod. Just like I’ll be glad if Pelosi gets to be the House Minority Leader … she’s been one of the best recruitment tools conservatives have ever had!
