And He Feels Puffy

Okay, okay...my first week of "Monday, Wednesday, Friday only" cartoons is going to blazes - but how am I supposed to ignore it when "No Drama" Obama, meeting with the nation's top congressional leaders to solve our critical debt crisis, suddenly jumps up from the table, stomps his tiny little foot, twists his face into an unhappy moue, and then runs from the room?!

Did he go to his room, cry, and beat his pillow? Did he get on Facebook and defriend "the whole mean world?" Did he get livid - just livid! - when he heard the Secret Service broadcasting an emergency "PMS Alert" to agents throughout the Whitehouse?

In fairness, Barack "Hussy" Obama is under a lot of stress lately. Hussy has been getting bad grades. Been getting teased. Losing popularity. And owing to water weight, none of Hussy's new clothes are fitting right...with the big Ramadan dinner dance getting closer every day!

But take a deep breath, Barack.

Even though you're confused by your conflicting thoughts and feelings, this is nature's way. And hopefully, a Midol and a freakin' Maxi-Pad will bring you back to the negotiating table soon.

  1. Yep, just sell the future of the country down the river and we'll have a deal. It's what the American people want, right? Just so long as it appears everyone is getting along in Washington.

Wasn't that the problem with Obamacare? The nasty, mean spirited Republicans just wouldn't play ball so now the public is mad and taking it out on the 2000 page bill.

How long can they go on lying and telling us we're stupid before we all wake up?

  2. I see more of a spoiled rotten brat who's not getting his way than a PMS-ing female. Many women are at the mercy of their raging hormones and I will cut them some slack. Spoiled children can be selfish, grasping and out of control. They need to be spanked and sent to their room - no Nintendo for you, mister.
Stilton, Duh Won never wanted to "negotiate", at least not in the true meaning of the word. He wants to dictate and receive smiling acquiescence. It is the natural way of things. After all, he has "a gift".

  3. Let's hear how Eric Cantor described it: "The President told me, 'Eric don't call my bluff, you know I'm going to take this to the American people.'" He then walked out.

Those rowdy, boisterous, Tea-Party, Representatives are no match for the cool headed, adult Barak Obama.

  4. here's what i don't get: why would you ever tell someone you are bluffing, especially during a hand?

he can't even get his metaphors correct.

  5. @Readers- And speaking of "bluffing," I was just reading on Drudge that the president is planning his own fundraising 50th birthday bash, charging $35,800 per couple...on August 3rd.

Does that date sound familiar? Oh yeah! That's the same day Obama says he might not let Social Security checks go out!

Can you imagine the beating he'd get in the press if the Big Story Of The Day is no Social Security checks AND a "rich people only" gala for the president's birthday?!

Which confirms that the Social Security threat is a pure bluff. Or to put it another way, a blatant and ugly lie to scare old people.

  6. What can you say? "Frankly Barack I don't give a damn" comes to mind.

  7. Friends, give the supposed president a break! The poor man needs a vacation! Why, it's been three or four weeks since he's had one. You'd be mad, too, if someone refused to give you real tax and spending increases now in exchange for your generous promises to maybe consider vague tax and spending cuts at a date to be determined much later unless we forget. Golly.

  8. Our biggest problem is that the MSM will cover for this whiny, tantrum-throwing brat, no matter what he does. The news weasels don't care how badly Barack Hussein wants to destroy this country; they will help him do it as long as there isn't a Republican in the White House. WHERE ARE THE ADULTS???

  10. I imagine it's pretty damn shocking for poor widdle BO. He was winning every game for two, solid years; and not just winning, but every game was a complete blow-out. Then, after the mid-term elections, he suddenly had an actual opponent show up.

I sure hope our side doesn't cave in to this fargin' ice-hole. Looks like McConnell is a goner, but it also looks like Boehner is hanging tough. I hope they pass about a $2 trillion budget cut, and let Harry Reid and BO shoot it down. Let it be on their heads, not ours.

  11. Wow, Stilt – is it Friday already? (I wish) Glad you are here; understood. Hard to focus on anything else when you see your country going down the drain & feel so powerless to stop it and so angry at those responsible for it.

When he said, “I’m going to take this to the American people”…
I say ‘BRING IT ON, BARACK!”
I’m an American person & I say you are completely wrong Mr. President.
We do not want the debt ceiling raised and we do not want new taxes.
We want SPENDING CUTS……get it? It’s the SPENDING STUPID!

(I know, I know: too many !! I can’t help it. I’m so frustrated with the whole damn lot of them right now. How could they let this happen? Were they all asleep at the switch? Can anybody in DC effing add & subtract?)

  12. Fortunately there's an source of wisdom to tell us all how to think about this mess (meaning The Obama's Outburst): Harry Reid! After Barak took his ball and when home because he wasn't winning, the person who was childish waaaaas... Eric Cantor! You know, the guy who broke the story? Reid told the Senate that just because Cantor is House Majority leader (like how budget negotiator Nancy Pelosi is the Minority Leader) doesn't mean Cantor gets to be in on the negotiations. Besides if Reid says calm and collected Cantor is being childish, IT MUST BE TRUE!!11!

  13. It's all an act. He's got nothing, but he's gotta put on a show for the zero-basers who still believe he's got their back. Just wait; there'll be some more class warefare hate rhetoric any second as the again threatens grandma with her Social Security check.

  14. @Readers- Good points. This is all just craziness at this point, yet I'm still biting my nails to see if Boehner and company can hang tough (or alternately, to see if Obama goes completely off his rocker).

NOTE: I'm traveling on (happy) family business this weekend so there definitely won't be new cartoons on the weekend...and even Monday's cartoon might show up a little later than usual.

  15. I agree with Hoosier...spoiled brat is what it is!!! At least women who are PMSing can still manage their jobs, most of the time...

  17. @ Suzy: about those women PMSing & handling their jobs ..... does that apply to combat military?
REALLY, I pray every day for broBama's safety. we DON'T need somebody going loony and attempting to kill the prez. destroyed politically? hell, yes!

  18. It makes me wonder when king hussein is going to have Canter in the front row at some event so he can disrespect him like he did the Justices and Rep. Ryan.

  19. @Suzy- Today's commentary wasn't intended as a slight to women with PMS. It's men with PMS I don't respect.

@george- I would never endorse the idea of physical harm coming to any president. But political destruction and early removal from office? Oh yes, please!

@robert- That was Obama's big threat, saying "I'll take it to the American people" (which I'm sure sounded like "I'll tell my big brother!") Only problem is, I think there's nothing that would be BETTER than for the American people to have ALL of this put in front of them. The backroom deals are what has gotten us in to this mess!

Obummer may take it "to the people" ... but the ONLY ones he will take it to are those who are living on the dole! The entitlement mongers who want everything for nothing! OF COURSE they will back him!
