Race The Facts

obama, obama jokes, cartoon, humor, political, conservative, tea party, stilton jarlsberg, hope n' change, hope and change, race, racism, polls, popularity, new yorker, cowboy

In a sweeping interview with the New Yorker ("sweeping" indicating something which belongs in a dustbin), Barack Obama declared that the reason he's suffered a steep drop in popularity over the past year is...wait for it...racism!

"There's no doubt," said the twice-elected president, "that there's some folks who just really dislike me because they don't like the idea of a black president." Even though, oddly, they appeared to like the idea just fine back in 2008 and 2012.

So the question is whether the electorate is growing more racist, if Obama is getting blacker, or if just maybe more Americans are growing comfortable with the idea of judging a president by the content of his character rather than the color of his skin - a concept proposed by some vicious racist whose name slips our mind at the moment.

To support his contention that only racism could account for his falling popularity, the president used the interview to claim many magnificent successes in office: creating an incredibly robust economic recovery, presiding over nearly four years of continuous job growth, creating a spike in clean energy technology, and instituting flawless, inexpensive, universal health care.

No, really!

So if you think that the economy hasn't really recovered, that 92 million Americans out of work is too many, that Solyndra was a tremendous waste of taxpayer money, or that Obamacare is simultaneously raising the cost and lowering the quality of healthcare - you're a frickin' racist!

And if you're still harping about little things like Benghazi, Fast & Furious, IRS harassment of conservatives, the deliberate forfeiture of two wars, the destruction of our immigration policies, selective law enforcement, and the dismantling of the Constitution through illegal Executive Orders, the chances are excellent (according to the president) that you're a high-ranking member of the Ku Klux Klan. Perhaps a Grand Dragon or Imperial Kleagle or Exalted Cyclops.

Or, God help us, a Tea Partier.

Frankly, Hope n' Change is disgusted by the president's umpteenth playing of the race card and we think we have a better explanation for his plummeting popularity numbers.

Americans aren't upset because they've suddenly realized that their president is black - they're upset because they've suddenly realized that under his leadership their future is black.

  2. The horse's comment is a bit vague. Perhaps if he were to follow up with something more "solid", his thoughts would be better understood and more factual.

  3. Well, @Geoff, I agree - but, if that were the case, to be as absolutely accurate as possible, the cowboy really needs to ditch that horse and start riding a bull...

  4. Maybe we should look a little deeper into President Narcissus' comments.

Did he maybe just admit he is nothing more than his perceived skin color?

Because make no mistake, the Vichy Media, the Democratic Party, and all his supporters were sure to point out how he could be a "Historic First," and that any opposition or disagreement with him was clearly due to racism. Because, duh, black (half, but who's counting unless it's someone like George Zimmerman?)

All Obama has ever been is a (half) black man.

So, what, all the people that voted for him initially did so due to his skin color? I agree, a LOT of them did.

Now that those people are realizing that the Emperor has no clothes, THAT is racist?

Not the voting blindly for a black man, not the media and the Dems using skin color to excuse criminality and ineptness, but the realization that skin color alone is a poor way to vote -- THAT is racist?

Maybe for once Obama spoke the truth. He is nothing more than his skin color.

Heck of a job, Barky. Heck of a job.

  5. Actually, taken at the most basic level king hussein is right. I'm sure there are people who don't like him because of his skin color. Just as I am sure there are people who don't like me simply because I'm white. Actually that's really a very natural thing. It's a very deep rooted characteristic from the caveman days. You know, being afraid of the tribe from the other side of the mountain. It's a very deep seated survival gene bred into mankind from the begining. Be wary of those who look, sound or act differently than you. Of course the neo-comms who constantly espouse evolution deny this and would say it's racist, but it's really very human.
And in the case of king hussein my fear of him is based on the fact he has so much power over all of us, and he seems to have the intellect of a jr. high schooler and the emotional maturity of a two year old.
But I would go out on a limb and say I think he will be the last black president for a long time. The exception being unless it is a conservative.
And you can't deny that he hasn't been successful in his mission to try and destroy this country. He's set race relations back 150 years. And he still has three years to go! Imagine the damage, the pain and suffering yet to be let loose on us. He will ensure that we suffer for our sins.

  6. I truly couldn't care less that he is black on the outside. The problem is that he is red through and through. His worldview scares the hell out of me, and as WMD observed, he has an unbelievable level of power, wielded as if by a spiteful brat of 6 years age.

  7. Fantastic post, Stilton! And great comments by all as well!

I find it most maddening that the people in this country that complain most AND loudest about racism, are also the ones who desperately want to keep it around. Dammit, Barry! you were put into office TWICE by the voters of this country, so STFU! And you too, Oprah, Jesse, Rev. Wright and Rev. Al....

    Geoff and Emmantaler,
The excrement debate has endured for possibly many centuries. Bull dookie, horse dookie, chicken dookie, condensed owl dookie... I have come to the conclusion that dear leader is indeed a flaming racist, but when it comes to dookie, he's totally non-discriminatory; an "all of the above" kind of guy.

  8. Great piece, Stilt, as usual.
Yeah, I was running for selection as Super Kleagle until I was recruited for the Tea Party... more seditious, you know.
    Keep up the good work!

  10. Considering Obama's parents, he is only half communist and half porn star. Nothing racist about that.

  11. You have to be patient with him, dictators get like that toward the end of their reign. I suspect a lot worse is coming from him in the future.

  12. So just how are things working out for America's first "affirmative action" President?

o More people uninsured now than before ObamaCare.

o More people on food stamps than ever.

o More people on disability than ever.

o Supposedly short-term unemployment benefits have now become permanent.

    o National debt doubled.

o "Income Inequality" has become worse under his Presidency"; the net worth of the middle class has diminished while Keynesian cheap money has ballooned the worth of the upper class, and "stimulus" has only stimulated the fortunes of the politically connected.

o America's standing in the "world community" is now a joke.

o And it's possible the only reason that he got a second term is because he used the IRS to pummel his political opposition.

The Obama Presidency has been the ultimate test of "affirmative action"; where through his entire life, an individual was given every benefit of the doubt in hopes that in the end he'd excel. It clearly didn't work out that way, unless, of course, his ultimate goal was to destroy America as we knew it.

In an intelligent country with honest intellectuals, the debate would be "Perhaps affirmative action is a failure; not only does it fail the individual, but all of society as well."

Nah. Couldn't possibly be that. The real problem is that we all must be a bunch of racists.

  13. With this communist Administration it's more of a erase the facts.
And the horse's 'comment' reminds me of why I call him Turd Boy. Fits.
    Great post as always Stilton.

  15. Stilt, your last paragraph about a black and bleak future for Americans is totally agreeable with me, although I hope it is not true, but fact is, the damage bo has done will not be cleaned up any time soon, and our kids will live under the effects of his tyranny for quite awhile.

"judged by the content of character and not the color of skin", of course from a speech by Reverend Michael King, Jr., before he changed his name to Martin Luther in honor of the father of the Reformation...I love that all the lefties hold Dr. King (you won't catch ONE of them referring to him as 'reverend') in such high regard, since he was a Republican and a Christian...two things that are totally anathema to a progressive mind.

By the way, just in case everyone does not know....neither Al Sharpton nor Jesse Jackson
are 'reverends', in both cases it is just an honorary title some deluded lefty bestowed upon them! Sharpton didn't even finish college!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Hit the 'anonymous' button by mistake!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Good points @Anonymous. It's always been amusing to note the truths behind so many leftist icons that they today repudiate.

And in fact, Al Sharpton & Jesse Jackson could only be identified as "reverend" because of the title bestowed upon themselves and the sycophants in the leftosphere. Anyone who objectively judges them from their character or actions could ever make such an assumption.

But then again, nobody would guess that Obama is a "Constitutional scholar" by his leadership either.

    ReplyDelete
  18. @John The Econ ~ Excellent point! The "Constitutional scholar" bit always tickles me. Why would anyone think that just because someone is well versed in something doesn't mean they believe in or practice it. One would do well to remember that even the "angel of light" Satan knows the Holy Scriptures and we all know how trustworthy he is.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Anonymous/PRY If I recall correctly jackson was thrown out of my alma mater, the University of Illinois for academic fraud, I think. Alledgedly. I'm not positive, but there was forced separation for some reason.

    ReplyDelete
  20. @Sparky, I even question that he's the least bit "well versed" in the topic. The details of his scholarly activities at Occidental College, Columbia & Harvard are this nation's most closely guarded secrets; it's probably easier to get the nuclear launch codes that the truth about his time at school.

All we know for sure is that he doesn't believe in the Constitution.

  21. From 12,000 miles away, I suggest a major contributor to your problems is Michelle.

  22. @Duke Mantee- And Barry is a complete and utter bastion.

@Geoff King- Trust me, the horse was only clearing his, uh, throat before producing the more substantial assessment of Barry's speech.

@Earl Allison- Voting for Obama because he's black is racist. Voting against Obama bacause he's black is racist. Having growing dislike of him because he's a horrible president is not racist - it's rational. And long overdue.

@WMD- If I recall the Democrat labeling process correctly, Bill Clinton was our country's first all-white black president, and Barry is our first half-white black president. So we're still awaiting a truly black black president (and I agree, such a person will likely be a conservative).

What Barack Obama definitely is is our first Affirmative Action president: a man who was given a job for which he is wholly unqualified, based solely on the color of his skin.

And yes, we're all suffering because of it.

@TrickyRicky- As much as I disliked Barry's policies (and lies) from the start, I at least hoped that he would use his alleged blackness to jumpstart some racial healing in this nation. Instead, he's done nothing but fan racist hatred and stoke fear...preferring to enjoy the political benefits rather than setting black Americans free from their government-imposed slavery to the state.

@Colby- Bingo! It is the Left which is heavily invested in keeping the dangerous and destructive fires of racism burning in this country.

@Bear Cat- Super Kleagle is a great position because you get to wear a cape and claim you were born on Krypton. In the Tea Party, the dress code is a lot less formal - tending to be work clothes and a flag lapel pin.

    @Anonymous- Touche! (And funny)

@Geoff King- You've accurately described Barry's parentage, but keep in mind that he was subsequently raised by his white relatives in Hawaii (where racial diversity is and was widespread, and where Barry wasn't any darker than many of the local Hawaiians). Even in college, Obama's alleged girlfriend described him as "not having a black bone in his body."

@Sunnybrook Farm- Sadly, I can't picture Barry shutting up or getting off the world stage when his second term is up. I fully expect him to be a pain in the ass for decades to come.

@John the Econ- I won't disagree with a single syllable of your well-worded breakdown of this president's failings. Well said, sir!

@Sparky- The statement from the horse was short and sweet, but it felt totally appropriate to me today. Seriously the rest of the commentary, while accurate, was hardly needed. The proper response to any pronouncement by Obama is a loud, wet, odoriferous fart.

@PRY- Of course I knew who was behind the quote about "the content of your character," but wanted to play dumb as an additional tweak to the Libs (including the president) who clearly believe that MLK was full of shit (sorry to be so direct).

And the "Reverend" title doesn't cut any mustard with me. Sharpton led lying protests which ended up costing lives...and Jesse Jackson cheated on his wife, tried to lie his way out of supporting his love child, and only got caught because his lover saved Jesse's used condoms in her freezer to use as evidence.

So please, don't tell me EITHER of these wretched individuals speaks to or for God.

    ReplyDelete
  23. @John the Econ- Barry is a "Constitutional Scholar" the same way a convicted criminal is a "jailhouse lawyer." Both have very limited knowledge, and concentrate only on the loopholes which will allow them to successfully evade the law.

@Sparky- Don't forget that besides being a self-declared Constitutional scholar, Barry was also the first black president of the Harvard Law Review, where he somehow managed to publish nothing. Leading again to the conclusion that he was actually the Harvard Law Review's first affirmative action president.

@WMD- Jackson was thrown out for alleged cheating, which was totally unfair. He can't help seeing what's on other peoples' test papers considering his eyes are on the sides of his head...

@John the Econ- I can't recall when I've heard Barry praise the Constitution, bur remember multiple occasions in which he's expressed anger and frustration about being constrained by the Constitution.

I'd love to see his college records opened up. I think there are several bombshells waiting to go off there.

@Bob- I think one of Michelle's primary duties has been to teach Obama how to pass himself off as black. And I'm not kidding in the least.

  24. John the Econ,
lamont is a constiPATIONAL scholar! He changed his major to proctology from political science fiction after his dealer got busted, (think about it, lamont supporters, he was getting stoned/high on what was ILLEGAL back then! Those kind of people don't GIVE a damn about the law... THAT'S why he finds it so easy to act UNconstitutionally. The Constitution is an ANNOYANCE to him, NOT the foundation of the greatest nation on Earth). I challenge someone to effectively dispute my claims.
    Sparky,
As far as Cherubim are concerned, IN ECONOMIC TERMS, lamont is the angel of BLIGHT!!!
    wmd,
THAT was Jesse Jackoffson's SON who was kicked out of UoI, wasn't it?

  27. Totally unrelated, but sometimes ya gotta vent. Cuomo has made it clear that conservatives are no longer welcome in HIS state, so I hope every last one of them packs up and moves elsewhere (hopefully to MY state). Imagine NY with no conservatives (also known as "employers"). What in the wide world of sports would happen in New York if Atlas shrugged there? Cuomo'd have to hide in an underground bunker somewhere to save his useless hide from all the sponges trying to find out what the hell happened to all their free shit.

    @anonymous,
Wah choo trine t' say, mo fo?

    @WMD,
    groan....

    ReplyDelete
  28. @Colby, it looks like the only people Cuomo wants left in NY is pliant bleeders to keep feeding the megastate. Good luck with that. I've been giggling at all of those "Bring your business to NY" ads. Who's falling for that?

Speaking of BS, it looks like the President's State of the Union speech next week is going to be all about "income inequality". His solution? More of the same inefficient megastate profligacy and crony capitalism that has caused "income inequality" in increase under his reign.

I just saw some talking head go on about how Pre-K education will fix it. Seriously. Public schools are remorselessly graduating semi-functional illiterates, and yet these clowns believe that if children had only 1 more year of exposure to their incompetence, that would somehow improve the economy?

This is the kind of BS we're in for next week, absolutely anything to get people off of the total disaster that ObamaCare has predictably turned out to be. Better get your waders out.

Oh, and yes, it's now beyond undebatable that ObamaCare is an unmitigated disaster. Remember, we had to have ObamaCare because "the uninsured" didn't have insurance. Who are most of the people signing up for ObamaCare? It's mainly not the "uninsured", but the formerly-insured that lost the plans they wanted to keep because of ObamaCare! Seems that most of "the uninsured" don't care. Go figure.

So now somewhere between 4 and 5 million have lost their insurance over the last several years, but Obama will cheer the embarrassing fact that a mere 2-million are now "insured", either under Medicaid, or at rates far higher than what they were paying before.

  30. Rescuing a shelter dog, way to go! Consider naming your new pooch Hachi (ha-chee) or Hachika (ha-cheek-a) from a 2009 Richard Gere film called "Hachi: A Dog's Tale". By the way,if you haven't seen that film, do it. A highly rated, true story about a dog's loyalty and a movie that may draw a sniffle from you. As you already
well know - A dog is the only thing that will love you more than it loves itself. Keep the clever satire coming, please. Well aimed satire works way better than bullets in bringing down the likes of Socialist dictator wanna-be Resident barry soetero and his "Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight".

  31. Obama once said the Americans were getting fat and lazy. Yet now that he has bungled up his job so badly and 65% of america see through his chicanery? He's now saying anyone who can't see his views are racist. Are we now racist because 65% of the population know that they can't find jobs? Or are we racist when obama says if you work harder you can succeed ? Yet his administration doesn't allow overtime work without a fine being imposed? So which is it ? Are we lazy by fiat? Or are we racist for knowing the truth?
