Dishonest Abe

obama, obama jokes, political, humor, cartoon, conservative, hope n' change, hope and change, stilton jarlsberg, debate, hillary, trump, lincoln, positions, wikileaks

One of the many juicy tidbits released by Wikileaks about Hillary Clinton was that she holds different public and private policy positions, and chooses which to share depending on whether she's speaking to the rabble, to wealthy donors, or to federal prosecutors while under oath. And at Sunday's debate, she actually claimed to be emulating Abe Lincoln with this conveniently schizophrenic deception.

Just offhand, we're guessing this isn't a claim she'd make if face-to-face with the great rail-splitter's ghost, especially if he were holding his axe. Which we admit is unlikely to happen, but isn't it a lovely mental image?

And now, more Wikileaks documents are coming out about how her campaign coordinated with the DNC to screw poor old Bernie "Grab 'em by the pursestrings" Sanders, is illegally coordinating messages with Hillary's Super-Pacs, was likely up to her eyeballs in arms sales which benefited ISIS, and on and on.

But in Hillary's own words, "At this point, what difference does it make?!"

And sadly the answer is "very little." Clinton's supporters already know she's a liar and law-breaker, and they don't care. The mainstream media knows the same, and they don't care.  The fix is in, although we're still hoping that the tide can be turned by a big enough October surprise of the right kind - like secret video of Hillary using a nutcracker to split the skulls of living kittens, then eating their brains with a sherbet spoon.

Although she'd still probably get away with it by claiming that George Washington did the same.

BONUS: BAD LIP READING

We don't care what your politics are, this is funny stuff...

  1. Hillary is just like Lincoln! Eleanor Roosevelt told her so!

  2. Hillary Clinton gets elected President and is spending her first night in the White House.
The ghost of George Washington appears, and Hillary says, "How can I best serve my country?"
Washington says, "Never tell a lie."
Ouch! Says Hillary, I don't know about that.
The next night, the ghost of Thomas Jefferson appears...
Hillary says, "How can I best serve my country?"
Jefferson says, "Listen to the people."
Ohhh! I really don't want to do that.
On the third night, the ghost of Abe Lincoln appears...
Hillary says, "How can I best serve my country?"
Lincoln says, "Go to the theater."

  3. Everyone hears Hillary's "public" positions, but it costs $250K/20 min. to hear her "private" ones

  4. As there was no actual substance to their debate, lip sync videos may be the best takeaways. Here is another:

  5. Abe Lincoln was a consummate liar, making good speeches while destroying the fabric of the republic with the Whig agenda to consolidate power in D.C. and make the states no more than geographic novelties. In fact, the states gave birth to the nation and all power not given to the national government in the constitution is reserved to the people and the states. Nearly every president has sided with Lincoln and against the constitution.

  6. Well Said Manfred and very true but old Abe could not hold a candle to sHrillary as far as the dishonesty or nation destroying.

  7. Hillary HAS set the bar rather high, but we have only a few documents providing insight to the long dead fellas while current liars are subject to the light of digital data.

  8. She doesn't just have "public" and "private" positions. She has a nearly infinite number of positions all depending on who's she's talking to at any given moment, be they Federal prosecutors, Wall Street bankers, Bernt-out college kids, hapless middle-classers or any other recognized subgroup of the rabble. The only consistency with any Clinton position is that it will be to the benefit of a Clinton.

Wiki-dumps: You're right. At this point, nobody cares.

And quite frankly, if video were to emerge of "Hillary using a nutcracker to split the skulls of living kittens, then eating their brains with a sherbet spoon", her sycophants will simply reply that Trump probably does the same, except he calls it "eating pussy". And then the media will focus exclusively on Trump's misogyny.

  9. Hillary is first-of-her-class deceitful, corrupt, crooked, but skilled at all of this. At this point could we just fast-forward to her memorial service?

  10. I can read that most on this board are getting jaundiced to this he said, she said and wondering how anyone would want to destroy this great nation. That alone boggles the mind since she said in a "private" speech, "Teleprompter-aided speech said Clinton wants 'to end forever the American independence that our founders gave to us'
Yes, I am sure that most voters, alive and dead, simply do not understand what is going to happen to this country if either is elected. If Trump is elected, he will have to rule by executive order and be forever defending himself from impeachment proceedings and if the Crook is elected, the skids are greased already by both parties. Lastly, I wonder what the White House will look like being completely staffed with bull daggers

  11. You have got to see this one! I was ROLLING laughing at this take on the second debate.

I don't know who did it, but this is PURE GENIUS!!!

  12. Well, the firing squad is scheduled for Nov.9; all that needs to be decided is who gets offered the blindfold. The equivocations between Trump and Hilarity will soon enough be brought into sharp focus, as Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn said,

"If...if... We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”

  13. Well, Hillary was right when she alluded to being similar to Lincoln.

They are both dead to me.

  14. I must take a tiny issue with your description of Hillary channeling Lincoln as an excuse for her duplicity. Actually she was channeling Lincoln as interpreted by Steven Spielberg. Which makes it even worse.

  15. Been watching Lincoln car ads with Matthew McConaughey. Lincoln seems to be trying very hard to sell big, bloated, overpriced cars to a younger generation. So maybe Shrillary IS like Lincoln.

But.... I've now given in to facing the fact that the old bag is going to be the next un-deserving squatter in OUR White House. Trump has shot himself in the foot so many times, he no longer has a foot to stand on.

I'm normally a "glass half full" kind of guy, but dammit, it's over folks. Please pass the coffee, if there's any left!

  16. @Readers- Good stuff above! I haven't responded because I've been busy (not bad things, just busy things) and probably won't be able to comment here for a couple more days. Just wanted to reassure folks that the Secret Police haven't grabbed me!

  17. Those Matthew McConaughey Lincoln ads are odd. They make his life look very sad and lonely. So is it the point that Lincoln cars are for sad, lonely guys who want to look cool to themselves, but will still be sad and lonely?

  18. Germany could use a good Gestapo. That is strange goings on in that nation.
Meanwhile, this political merry-go-round is never ending. The rank and file in the FBI may be looking for work so not to be tainted. Polls don't mean squat as we are assured they are biased to reflect what they want the outcome to be and this board has some wonderful, thoughtful folks that are still optimistic. Keep up the good work doc. Excellent insight.
