Water Safety

40 years ago this week, Teddy Kennedy drove off the bridge at Chappaquiddick (presumably on his way to Catchaquikkie) and left Mary Jo Kopechne to drown in shallow water. He returned home, talked to advisors, then went to bed all before calling for "help" the next day.

He is now considered one of the prime architects of Obamacare, which will determine how quickly we receive medical services. Uh-oh...

Bonus! This picture is too good not to share. All credit to the original poster/creator!

Ted Kennedy is an unrepentant killer.

However, the real culprits are the people of Massachusetts who elect him and his senate colleagues who talk to him.

He never should have been elected Senator after the shame he brought on himself, his family, and his party.

Good news :

RASMUSSEN 2012 poll released at 10:30AM ET

Obama 45% Romney 45%
Obama 48% Palin 42%

It's incredible. Obama hasn't finished the year yet and Rasmussen reports show Bammy and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney tied at 45% each. And Obama/Palin 48%-42%.

Meanwhile, "Mister Transparency" is withholding the latest budget figures until after he can get a vote on healthcare...presumably because the budget numbers would show what insanity it is.

Philip, I was recently made aware of a bumper sticker that I'd love to get my hands on. It says: "Don't Tell Obama What Comes After A Trillion!"

Suzy, the tale of Teddy Kennedy and Mary Jo Kopechne is totally sleazy, and there's no good explanation for why he wasn't charged with (or convicted of) serious crimes. Other than being rich, well-connected, and politically powerful.

By some accounts, Mary Jo Kopechne was found in the car in a position that suggests she was largely uninjured after the crash, and had positioned herself to breathe in an air pocket. If Kennedy had called the police, she might have been saved. But he didn't. And she wasn't.
