Paul Ryan is officially Romney's pick for VP, and Hope n' Change couldn't be happier! Ryan has the courage and clear-spoken intelligence we've been needing - and he will demolish the economic lies of the Obama administration.

Our Hope for Change is looking better and better!

If you can, make a donation to the Romney/Ryan team TODAY to show your support for Mitt's choice, and to scare the living crap out of Barack Obama and the Left.

UPDATE: The Obama administration prepares to launch their response...

Friday Foto Funnies

Readers- As a little change of pace (and because no news stories seem particularly compelling today) I'm doing a "week in review" featuring the photo graphics I've posted over at the Hope n' Change Facebook page in the past few days (plus a brand-new bonus at the bottom of this page). Enjoy and have a great weekend! -Stilt

People who didn't watch the Mars landing live may have missed this shot from Mission Control...

Perhaps also broadcasting from Mars, Obama's SuperPAC ran a jaw-dropping TV ad claiming that a man's wife died of cancer because of Mitt Romney. And every word was a lie. Romney left Bain Capital long before the man lost his job. The man was offered a buyout deal which would give him money to purchase health insurance if he chose to. His wife had her own health insurance from another employer for years after her husband lost his job. And she wasn't diagnosed with cancer until years later.

Making things worse, the Whitehouse denied having anything to do with the content of the ad because it was produced by a SuperPAC. But subsequent investigation shows that Joe Soptic, the man in the ad, had been featured repeatedly in campaign materials and events for Obama. Is he a liar, a political operative, or just someone who is easily confused...?

Of course, some people don't have any problem repeating lies...

And finally, this is an unretouched shot from Obama's campaign. Obama once asked his supporters "Who likes pie?!" - but he never promised to give them his pie.

BONUS: Introducing a new strip which will appear at random times and places until Election Day. Meet "Bark Obama - The Lying Dog!"

Robbing Hood

Barack Obama, whom we've never seen in green tights (although photos from his college days no doubt exist), is now pushing yet another new campaign theme: Mitt Romney is "Robin Hood in reverse," making the president the real Robin Hood.

No, really.

In fact, Obama is now referring to his opponent as "Romney Hood" - claiming that if the "evil rich" (also known as "small business owners") continue paying the same tax rate they've been paying for years, it amounts to stealing from the poor and giving money to those filthy bastards who are struggling to meet payrolls and already paying the vast majority of the taxes which fund the building of our roads, bridges, and other infrastructure - and provide direct benefits to 47% of their fellow citizens.

But for Barack Obama, the robbing hood from Chicago, that's not enough! Nope, he'll steal from those evil rich folks and give to the poor! In fact, he'll do even better than that - he'll create more poverty and make sure people stay in it!

But while we don't question Mr. Soetoro's proclivity for theft - or love of secret identities - is he really only stealing from the rich?

That certainly wouldn't be the opinion of the 20,000 retirees who had their pensions stolen by one of Obama's merry men. Specifically, Tim Geithner involved himself in the GM bailout and had the pensions cut off for 20,000 retirees who didn't belong to the UAW, while making sure that the union members received every penny of benefits.

Which sounds a lot like stealing from the poor to give to a rich politically-connected union, doesn't it? But of course, the UAW is hardly the only group of fat cats enjoying plunder stolen from the little people. A list of the recipients of stimulus spending would bear a stunning similarity to a list of Obama's campaign contributors, donors, unions, and vote-swinging political machines.

Which is why there wasn't actually much "job stimulus" money left to create jobs.

You know, the sort of jobs the poor they won't be poor anymore.

Obama has a lot of experience with arrows. All trending downward.

Go Ahead, Make Mitt's Day

A lot of people believed that Clint Eastwood was basically duped into appearing in a two-minute Superbowl ad which was allegedly for Chrysler...but turned out to be a thinly-veiled taxpayer-funded campaign commercial for Barack Obama.

And it turns out that messing with Clint Eastwood is, unsurprisingly, a really bad idea.

Because the steely-eyed raspy-voiced actor has just given his endorsement to Mitt Romney for president, saying that "the country needs a boost" and needs Romney "now more than ever."

In part, Eastwood says that Romney could help end the divisiveness in our country and assure that "people are not pitted against one another as to who's paying taxes and who isn't." Which is much more polite than saying that a number of prominent Democrats desperately need a good ass-kicking.

In fairness, Hope n' Change doesn't really think any celebrity's endorsement should carry a lot of weight on political matters. But we have to admit that we'd rather have one Clint Eastwood on our side than all of Obama's Alec Baldwins, Chers, Bill Mahers, Sean Penns, and Rosanne Barrs put together.

Especially since we've already seen what that many radically liberal celebrities look like when they're put together: Michael Moore.

In any event, we agree with Clint that Barack Obama needs to be replaced in November because he's clearly out of his depth.

Like Dirty Harry said, "A man's got to know his limitations."

Or better still, DON'T get off his lawn and see what happens.
