I'll look for "Storm Kings," as I've got a fascination with twisters (perhaps because I formerly lived in a trailer in Indiana).

Colby said...: Trivia... I was once in Olso, and saw a street performer (whom I later found out was from Philadelphia) on a unicycle juggling a chainsaw, bowling ball and an apple. The chainsaw had no chain, but impressive none the less!

@Jim Hlavac- Yeah, I just can't bear having no post on a "no post" day. I'd rather people think "Stilt can't get his crap together" rather than "I wonder if he had too much coffee and wandered out into traffic?"

Regarding Fark Boy, it's actually not much fun dressing down someone who offers so little challenge.

@DougM- Now that's real optimism! I won't need to "hurry back" really as I'm not going anywhere, I just couldn't get things together for a Friday post - no doubt because of my lofty standards (I just threw that in for the Fark followers).

What really strikes me and chills me is the methods that Hitler used to accomplish his 'goals'. Lies and deception (sound familiar?), manufacturing crises (gasp)to sorta support his agressive actions, and other very familiar techinques to make something happen that normally would be very very unpopular. He was accepted as a savior (familiar again?), until he brought the hammer down on several ethinic groups (jews, communists, homosexuals, handicapped people, etc.). The havoc he wreaked in suffering humanity is historic; what a legacy. I swear our current 'messiah' is working for the same thing.; May 31, 2013 at 3:08 PM

But my goal has never been to be on the "winning" side - just the right side. That means individual responsibility and choice; not simply joining whatever crowd has the biggest numbers and the loudest voices. Just like his flurry of executive orders and other nonsense edicts and fiats he's so fond of issuing...

So much for the Legislative Branch of our Constitutional Republic. Along with this and all the other disasters he's either directly or indirectly responsible for, if this isn't grounds for impeachment, I don't know what is!

Even today, it still mystifies me how a foreigner raised by leftists, criminals, terrorists, & Muslims, formally educated in the art of circumventing our Constitution, who paid large amounts of cash to have his records legally sealed so no one could do a background check and establish who he "really" is, and had no real on the job leadership experience short of being an agent provacateur/rabble rouser, could ever be allowed to run for ANY high office, much less voted in to said high office by the people of this country.

Every step of the way he has been a threat to our sovereignty as individuals, as a people, and as a nation.

I guess if that twerp fark-boy were here he'd say something like, "Nyah, nyah, nuh nyah, nyah... We won! Get over it!"
