Mister Security

Click Cartoon for Larger Size
Barack Obama, showing his continuing ability to be on both sides of every issue, has suddenly declared that the flight 253 bomber was not only an "isolated extremist" but also a trained agent of Al Qaeda.

The president further declared that he is going to get to the bottom of the egregious lapses in protocol which allowed the underwear bomber to penetrate security, with tough consequences for anyone who failed in their responsibilities.

Yet the president still refuses to let Whitehouse staffers be questioned by Congress on how the Salahis were able to crash a state dinner, potentially endangering a number of world leaders. So once again, "tough consequences" are appropriate for the rabble...but not for members of the Obama administration.

Pretty sad isn't it.

And I seem to remember Bush coming home from vacation early several times to tend to much more important business...like averting crises in the country. I'd like to see Obama do that just ONCE. To put country before personal vacation.

Wishful thinking.

Just saw a story on Fox that indicates there was another "gate crasher" at the last State dinner ... and, of course, it was the State Dept's fault

Just when you think it can't get any more wacky at the white house...I am sure there is a cartoon hiding in this one:

Anonymous- Far be it from Hope n' Change to kid about anything as serious as gender reassignment surgery. We do, however, think it's a shame that the testicles the aide had removed couldn't have been donated to someone who needed a pair. Like, oh, the president of the United States.

See, there was a cartoon strip in that.

NakedLiberty- it's not the punchline that would have been a problem...it was the visual. (grin)
