While the nation's attention is on the upcoming Healthcare vote, the state of Hawaii is quietly working on a law which would allow them to ignore Freedom of Information Act requests for Barack Obama's long-form birth certificate...and possibly create fines for even making such a request.
The one, and presumably only, person who has seen the alleged long-form document is Dr. Chiyome Fukino, who claims that it shows Barack Obama was "born in Hawaii" and is a "natural-born US citizen."
If we choose to believe that, then we have to ask what IS on the birth certificate that Obama is so desperate to hide? Presumably, it would have to be something on the long-form that is missing from the short-form: the true names and addresses of the parents, the race of the parents, or the stated race of the baby.
If Hawaii gets its way, we'll just have to take it on faith that the man in the Whitehouse is really a natural-born citizen. We'll just never know who the hell he really is.

It makes me furious that the republicans weren't allowed to hide ANYTHING...medical records, birth certificates, you name it, they had to show it. McCain's birth certificate was scrutinized as he was born onto a military base. So WHY oh WHY can't someone just release Obama's certificate? We have a right to know...and obviously there is something VERY VERY wrong that they are hiding it. The FBI and the Supreme Court should demand it shown NOW.
Suzy- Unquestionably, if Obama really is a "natural born citizen," then something else is being hidden. A popular - but unproven - guess is that the birth certificate might show Obama's actual father to be someone other than Barack Obama senior...like avowed communist Frank Marshall Davis, who wrote about having sex with an underaged white girl named "Ann" (Obama's mother's middle name).
Barack's white grandparents, who raised him, encouraged the 10-year old to build a strong personal relationship with Davis, and Obama referred to him as his "mentor" in Dreams From My Father.
If Barack Obama is biologically Frank Marshall Davis's son, he is indeed a natural born citizen. But he would also be, quite literally, a "commie bastard" which could have hurt him politically.
Obama has lived for 48 years without leaving any footprints -- There is no Obama documentation -- no records -- no paper trail -- none.

Personally I think is a Muslim mole working for the terrorist. No one before has even put so much effort into the destruction of America each and everyday of this dudes life. I sure hope ALL his communications are monitored 100% of the time. I still don't believe he's a US Citizen.
Philip- Great links, and a great list of all the missing documentation. Some day, we'll know what was being hidden. Though at this point, it seems unlikely to be bigger, or worse, than what has been revealed through the president's own words and deeds.

No paper trail makes perfet sense. He has no reflection either. And the race of his parents wasn't an issue - it was the species.
