BS, I Love You

Wouldn't you know it. Just when Hope n' Change looks at the stock market, the media, the Obama administration, Syria, tragedy in Afghanistan, and London in flames and thinks "oh well, at least this will all be over soon when Global Warming destroys the Earth," along come some meddling NASA researchers who've looked at new data and say we're actually going to be stuck here for a long, long time...because Man-caused Global Warming is a myth.

The scientists looked at 25 years of satellite data to see how much heat the Earth was releasing safely into space, instead of trapping it under a "greenhouse gas" dome which the computer models had predicted. And their answer? The heat is safely dissipating. And the climate alarmists' computer models are dead wrong.

Noted Global Warming enthusiast and profiteer Al Gore made a formal rebuttal to the scientifically reviewed findings, saying "Man-made CO2 doesn’t trap heat? It may be volcanoes?! Bullshit! It may be sun spots?! Bullshit! It’s not getting warmer?! Bullshit!!!"

But even if it means we're going to continue to be stuck on this planet with annoying liberals, the new research really does amount to good news for conservatives and radical budget-balancing Tea Party terrorists.

Because now that the research has shown that Man-caused Global Warming is a hoax, the government can stop spending billions of taxpayer dollars in their ongoing attempt to prove (or pretend) it does exist. Which they currently do in order to justify increasing regulation and takeover of the American economy, energy sector, and peasantry.

Just think, with all that money we could save, we could fund research into important medical issues.

And maybe - just maybe - find a cure for Al Gore's Tourette's Syndrome.

I don't know if Al believes the crap that spews from is pie hole or if he sees the source of his easy money slipping away. The cynic in me says it's all about the Benjamins, but the compassionate Christian who loves the Earth because it is a construct of and gift from God believes, well...it's still all about the Benjamins with Al.

Angry Hoosier Dad said...

"is pie hole" = "his pie hole". Still heavy early.

It always has been and always will be all about the Benjamins...pure and simple...he never believed in anything but his own greed.

Al Gore Spoke like a true leftist liberal, when the debate, or in his case the science is proving him wrong, swear, kick, scream, insult, belittle, and attempt to condemn anyone with a contradictory point of view.

Let's look at some reasons that Gore could be staunchly holding his ground and attempting to discredit anyone that disputes his "facts"

1. He get paid millions of dollars a year to give speeches at Environmental rallies.

2. He founded a company to handle Carbon Credit exchanges if the Cap and Trade Law was passed and stood to make Millions if not Billions.

3. It keeps him in the limelight, since his disgraceful count them again, and again, and again, antics in his failed Presidential run he needed to find some way to get the spotlight to focus on him.

4. He might be a raving lunatic and no matter what evidence he is presented will refuse to believe that his ideas might be wrong.

5. He might be a "true believer" and will only change his beliefs when there is no possible way that his ideas could be right.

6. He could just be a shill for the Liberal agenda and this is just another ploy to destroy wealth and limit the populations mobility and wealth.

But the biggest question is: Why is he really and truly believe in Global warming does he fly, a private jet, all over the country, then have himself and his entire entourage around in huge gas guzzling SUV's? He wants us to believe that even grandma who drives 10 miles a week is killing the planet because she doesn't drive a Zero emission vehicle, so why are his emissions less damaging?

Unfortunately, AGW (Anthropogenic Global Warming) as scientific "fact", economic agenda, and driver of local/national/global policy will not go away for at least a generation. World-wide, too many politicians, scientists, and corporate leaders have gone "all in" in the agenda, betting their reputations and credibility on this global fraud. To finally arrive at a "consensus" now that it all was a "big mistake" would destroy them all; professionally and economically. With everything at stake, they simply cannot afford to let this dead agenda die.

Scientifically, AGW was already on the ropes when we got the East Anglia Climatic Research Unit email dump, exposing the inner-workings of the scientific arm of the scam. That, combined with the simply bizarre and corrupt behavior of political side at the UN's IPCC, the final nails should have been in the coffin. And yet the agenda continues. Billions are still being spent, and plans to disrupt or just outright seize property in the name of "global warming" continues unabated.

So I hardly expect this bombshell from NASA to make any difference. Al Gore, Tom Friedman, and all the others will continue spewing their propaganda while ironically continuing to live their profligate carbon-intensive lifestyles. "Scientists" who have become as dependent upon government funding as 4th-generation welfare moms will continue with their research designed to arrive at pre-determined conclusions. And the politicians who derive their power from sustaining and expanding this feedback loop will continue to do so, and with their statist plans to dictate your life all based upon your "carbon" footprint.

Man-made Global Warming is a religion for the loony liberal left and they must live by faith not sight. Getting them to deny their god is impossible. Soon they will join the Muslims in terrorizing the world in the name of their god Mother Earth. Who knows, maybe Mother Earth can hook up with Allah the Sex/Moon god and have little new Age dope smoking imps that love to strap bombs on their kids and blow up Israeli school buses.

Left out of the NASA report was the satellite image of intense heat radiating from Al Gore's underarms. He's a walking volcano.

Wonder if any "journalists" will ask Ol' Al how much more effective famine relief could be if the huge acreage, taken up by the admittedly supported-by-him-for-the-money-and-votes, completely non-'Green', Ethanol fuel scam, were planted instead in food-grade corn and grains?
Or is the influence of the heroes of many of this administration's movers-and-shakers(Mao, etc.), who created deliberate starvation as part of taking control, showing a bit at the edges, like an ill-sized bright red slip?

Reading @Anonymous' and @Earl's posts, just above, in quick succession caused an unfortunate linkage of same that left me reeling from a horrific vision of various cuckoo environmentalist whackos falling down to worship Al Gore's armpits. Looks like I picked a bad week to give up sniffing glue.

While I was at the University of Illinois, a scientist from CERN by the name of Jasper Kirkby came and gave the weekly physics colloquium on the subject "The Data for Global Warming". Using standard techniques for analyzing data from experimental particle physics, he demonstrated that the basic data was highly unreliable and that if you DID accept it, there was still no significant correlation between the alleged warming and human activities, but there WAS an apparent correlation with solar activity. Kirkby hypothesized that it had to do with solar modulation of cosmic rays seeding cloud formation. He had a web sit called "Jasper's Cloud Page" where he went in depth about it all. It may still be available.

The presentation went over like the proverbial lead balloon. He was attacking a basic tenet of the audience's religion! They were mostly PhD physicists or PhD candidates and were supposed to be intelligent and hyper-rational, but he was attacking their religion!

No doubt, it WILL be a generation before this nonsense takes its rightful place as another discredited but once-popular/myth.

We will find real proof of a tribe of tap-dancing Sasquatch before we find real proof of AGW.

@Readers- When you think of it, AGW is to the "scientific" community what Barack Obama is to the mainstream media: an invention which empowered them, but will now destroy their credibility if they allow the truth to get out.

Universally accepted myths die hard...but the process is accelerated by our society's newfound total lack of accountability.
It will take several years for TPTB to disassociate themselves, but give them time, they will. The 24 hour news cycle and the 24 hour attention span works in their favor, as very little sticks or is retained for long.
Academics nowadays are only briefly inconvenienced by having publicly embraced foolish notions, and there is always time to embrace the next (new and improved and utterly perfected) soon-to-be-repudiated foolish notion.

I am not a conspiracy theorist, but isn't it strange that BO first wanted NASA to become a muslim outreach agency, and then he shut down the space program? Did he see this coming? I mean, this has the potential to seriously put the brakes on his whole "tax the shit out of energy producers" scheme. You gotta wonder how much of Al's big money finds it's way into BO's pocket.

And another thing.... How the HELL does Al Gore keep going?! How many times does a respected group of REAL scientists have to prove him wrong before he loses credibility? How many girls does he have to grope and chase around the bed before the general public goes, "Hey, I think this guy's a nut." If this goober was a Republican, he would be in exile right now. The media would have crucified him already.

Will next week's issue of Time Magazine have Al Gore on the cover labeled "The King of Rage"? Yeah, when hell freezes over.

John the Econ said...

Al Gore will keep going as long as there's money to be made and power to be grabbed thanks to AGW.

Al Gore is crony capitalism at its very worst.

It's a rough time to be a Warmer. The drowning polar bears aren't drowning. The melting Himalayan glaciers aren't melting. Not one full fledge hurricane has hit the US since Bush was in office. What will the Warmers do with their murder fantasies now that their entire argument has fallen apart? Do you think the Warmers will finally admit that the Right isn't waging a "war on science"?

Angry Hoosier Dad said...

Anonymous (above):
No, they will never admit that. They have far too much faux-credibility invested in that scam and there's still so much money to be made.

Pete(Detroit) said...

AHD - besides, there's still that "other" "war on science" - Intelligent Design
That's totally a 'right wing' cause, yes?
That's totally an attack on "Science" yes?
So, clearly, that's why all the right wing wackos are attacking the 'science' of AGW.

Two false statements leading (illogically, but feels right) to a (erroneous) conclusion - sounds like a strong lefty argument to me!

John the Econ said...

No hurricanes since Bush? Well, that's Obama's achievement! Remember?

...this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal...

Of course, in that same speech he promised that the wars would be ended, and good jobs would be available to the jobless.

Stilton Jarlsberg said...

@John the Econ- One thing you've got to give Obama, he isn't afraid to show hubris.

Although I'm not quite sure that the earthquake and tsunami ravaged Japanese (upon whom Obama has blamed much of our own financial malaise) would agree that he's done a very good job of "healing" the planet.
