Miracle Workers

Michelle Obama, pushing hard to sign up healthy young suckers for Obamacare before registration closes soon, declared that the counselors who help people through the confusing process of enrolling are "doing God's work." Which is good, considering that her husband's administration has done everything possible to downsize the actual number of hours that God Himself is employed.

The first lady stressed that the young and healthy are in particular need of health insurance because they "could get hit by a car," which is certainly true considering that Joe Biden still has a driver's license.

Previously, Michelle said that Obamacare is right for young people because they're "knuckleheads," which is coincidentally why so many of them also voted for Obama, and why the president likes to speak on college campuses and the occasional kindergarten classroom (see below).

Despite the first lady's assertion that Obamacare is somehow holy (unless she means the gaping holes in the programming code for its website), it seems like there may be a bit of theological confusion going on at the White House just now. Why else would the president suddenly carve yet another new Executive Commandment into the Obamacare stone tablet, extending the amount of time that people can hang on to their old, substandard, Satan-based health insurance policies?

Truly, the Obama family works in mysterious ways.

FRIDAY BONUS: School Dazed

To promote his new budget-busting "budget" and its call for universal Pre-K classes, Barack Obama recently paid a visit to Powell Elementary School to pose for pictures.

Pictures which are almost surely being broadcast continually on Russian television to prove, at a time of international crisis, what a derp-emitting dweeby numbnuts our president is.

OT, but it seems that Abortion Barbie is not as well received by the voters as Battleground Texas had hoped, hiring a bunch of anti-ROTC yankee twenty-somethings as campaign staff/managers is blowing up in their face:
Wendy Davis Will Cause The Democrats To Divert Resources To Georgia

Chicago politics don't hold a candle to Texas politics - it's a whole 'nother world!

Michael's...errr...Michelle's comment about the possiibility of being hit by a car makes a lot of sense to me. However, if she is the final product of Obamacare funded plastic surgery after a hideously deforming accident, they really should consider finding a different poster boy...errr...girl to promote it's value.

Ahhhhhh, at last, we have an 11th Commandment; "Thou Shalt Purchase obamacare Whether You Like or Need it".

The only god this administration recognizes is their self-proclaimed Messiah, B.H.O. If I were them, I'd be more afraid of answering to my maker than being hit by a car.
And for crying out loud, we put a man on the moon, can't we do something about Miche's TEETH? She looks downright scary.

Stilton,
When I first read "conselors" I thought you had misspelled it, but, alas, it occurred to me you wouldn't. Ah, yes... the Affraudable Care Act!
Remembering that "saTANNNNN!" is also called a god, I THEN envisioned lamont on SNL doing a segment as "the mosque lady" reading out of the "King Kong" (in honor of lamont marrying his sister (ala, James David Manning)) version of the koran, offering to part the Red Blood of infidels while it flows in their body's.
This group of extemporaneous miscreant morons could truly be accused of "pulling these comments out of their butts", which, considering bath-house bootie barry, reminds me of a story involving 2 men, a flashlight and car-keys!
Thinking of that, I've just come up with a way to make some extra money... I'll start marketing a new action figure... "Bend Over barry"... he bows AND does an impression of Liberace! (guess where the bulls-eye is on his authorized dart-board.)

Once again, Michelle talks down to her base. Embarrassing, really.

Meanwhile, we're getting another round of ObamaCare delays. Of course, the last thing Democrats need is yet another round of cancellation notices going out weeks before another the 2014 mid-term election. But the latest round of delays may allow existing "junk plans" to exist into 2016, which, of course, would put their termination right before the next Presidential election. Then what?

The joke now is that the bulk of ObamaCare will continue to get delayed so that it won't actually get a chance to be implemented until next GOP administration.

Of course, with the 37-some-odd changes to the law unilaterally and illegally imposed by the Obama Administration, it seems obvious that a future President should be able to simply destroy it. It would be much fun to watch Democrats scream about a President unilaterally changing laws that Congress passed. But then again, I doubt there will be many original signers of ObamaCare left around to complain. One can only hope.

On another topic: Anyone catch the little dust-up the other day when Darryl Issa gave up on a hearing after it became clear that Lois Lerner was going to spend the next 4 hours doing nothing other than pleading the 5th? Elijah Cummings got a bit irate at the cut off, even though it was clear there was going to be nothing new to be learned.

Was this the same Elijah Cummings that walked out of Hillary's Benghazi hearing?

@Grumpy Curmudgeon, "Abortion Barbie" and her transparently corrupt narrative was doomed to fail. It might have worked 20 years ago, pre-Internet and pre-FNN, but not today. On the other hand, Hillary was lucky that she ascended when she did.

That's the problem with this site and all of the folks that comment here. No one shows any "RSPECT".

Shameful.

Now me? I am so grateful Wookie is parting the red tape. And The Unicorn Prince is finally appearing at his mental grade. Although, why he was left alone with children, I don't know.

Considering that barry's minions consider him a deity, it makes sense that to them the obamacare counselors are "doing God's work."

Regarding the pre-k program, the government's own research shows that such programs are ineffective. From the latest DHS report of Head Start:

"In summary, there were initial positive impacts from having access to Head Start, but by the end of 3rd grade there were very few impacts found ..."

@Chuck Ef - that's the ebonics way of spelling R-E-S-P-E-C-T, and it's racist of you to bring that up.

John the Econ said...

@CenTexTim, you almost speak as though "public education" is somehow about the well-being of children.

Quite frankly, I don't know why they aren't going for compulsory pre-pre-pre-pre-K; Just take the kids the moment they're out of the womb and totally free the parents of any responsibility.

@Grumpy Curmudgeon- Texas is a whole 'nother world...which is why I'm proud to be a Texan.

@Geoff King- It's only a matter of time before people claim a "right" to cosmetic surgery. After all, who is more discriminated against that the fugly?

@Fred Ciampi- And the Lord Obama says "taketh two stone tablets and call me in the morning."

@SusieBee- I really believe that progressives do worship Barry as a messiah. The morons.

@Bruce Bleu- Oops! "Conselors" was perhaps a Freudian slip, but it wasn't intentional. I've since stuck a "u" in there.

And I think you've got a good idea with the "Bend Over Barry" toy. And I'm pretty sure I know where you insert the batteries.

@John the Econ- I can't really imagine any private company trying to sell its products with the tagline "Buy it because you're stupid." On the other hand, the same sales pitch basically got B. Hussein elected in the first place.

Regarding the delays in implementing various troublesome aspects of Obamacare, it just strikes me as buying more time in which Obamacare can't/won't be vigorously fought while the insurance market changes irrevocably.

Per the Lois Lerner Loop ("On advice of my counsel, I respectfully refuse to answer...") I just wish Issa hadn't cut off Cummings microphone, because the story then became "witch-hunting GOP members hate black people." Debbie Wasserman-Schulz actually compared the mic cut off to Russia's invasion/takeover of Crimea. Madness.

They misspelled R-E-S-P-E-C-T?! Man, Urethra Franklin will be pissed (see what I did there?)

@CenTexTim- Head Start hasn't worked and has cost a fortune. Which, oddly, are both reasons that the Dems want more of it.

John the Econ what you said about taking babies from their mothers immediately is not a new idea.
I knew this feminazi back in 1981 and I happened to be at someones house when a few of them showed up. I didn't realize what they were about or who they were at first. Just a party at a common friends house. Anyway, these, ahem, "women" went on and on about passages in the Bible that said women were supposed to be the ni&&ers of men and all kinds of crazy crap like that. But the one that I knew said, "in the future babies will be taken from their mothers at birth and raised on government farms".

I had to check to make sure no one had slipped me some blotter.

It seemed completely ridiculous at the time, but now... I'm betting that's the least of it.

Yep, folks, the pile of garbage that can be credited to the left is piling up pretty high...but isn't that what we thought a couple of years ago when BO got re-elected? Thank God that through it all, we have our Constitution, I believe given by God through our Founding Fathers to take care of us. But, just as in an individual's life, if he or she turns from the good and sensible way to live (I know, that's up to the individual)...a nation (US) that does the same will reap the same judgment as an individual and we have 55-plus million aborted babies on our tab now...
God WILL NOT, and can not ignore that! People really do get the kind of leadership they deserve.

SusieBee,
A friend of mine said he saw less scary teeth while watching a IMAX showing of "Jaws" in 3D! I think "magilla" qualifies for being a "Chicago titanium bagger", just in case the paper bag ignites and we have to see that "face".
If somebody disputes that barry is attracted to UGLY men, all they need to do is look at "moochelle"! Good grief, if I were the last man and mooch was the last Wookiee on earth, the human/Wookiee race would be HISTORY! My gag reflex is TOO high to consider that scenario... just THINKING about it... BLECCCHHH... HURRRRRLLL, ROOOOOOOPPPP... sorry... just lost my last 2 months of meals!

Yup, when the going gets tough, the weak take yet ANOTHER 4 million+ tax payer dollar vacation to Florida. I totally agree with Chuck Ef: At least Ospoiledbratface found some peasants he can relate to on his own level; 'The Obama Pre-School Youth'.

Regarding babies being taken from their mothers at birth, I'm reminded that the novel "Brave New World" was published in the 1930s. What I didn't know was that certain leftist "people" thought it was an instruction manual.

I'm waiting for the leftists to really start working on that baby tube thing...

I would like to comment on Sultan Ă˜bama's decision to take his 3rd vacation of the year at a cost to taxpayers of over $4 million while possible nuclear war with Russia looms, but Stilton would be forced to delete my post due to language usage.

@Geoff King

We're all thinking the same thing!

I've lost count of all the vacations this scoundrel has taken. Anyone know?

Is this REALLY the president?

I am glad however that V.P. Biden is also on vacation in the Virgin Islands. With any luck his Alzheimer's will kick in and he will forget to return home.
