Serfs Up

Not long ago, a smug Barack Obama falsely promised voters "If you like your plan, you can keep it. End of sentence. Case closed."

But today is the day that voters finally get the chance to tell Obama and the Democrats exactly what they can do with their plans. End of sentence. Case closed.

We genuinely believe that today could be a day of miracles - and not just the usual election day "miracles" in which Democrats find ways to make the lame walk (to the polls), the blind see ("Here, let me touch the screen for you"), and the dead rise (via absentee ballots).

This could be the start - and admittedly only the start - of a real longterm movement to save this country and restore it to greatness.

If you haven't voted yet, please get out and do it! Don't rely on others to do the work, or become overconfident about a "sure win." The political world will be watching to see the actual numbers that come in...and full voter participation is the only way to make sure the conservative message to politicians in both parties is heard loud and clear.

Got up at 6 AM with the wife to go and vote. As usual (since Clinton anyway), couldn't find a single Democrat worth voting for (really, I did look for one). Looked like a steady stream of people in and out at the polls. Here in Indiana, we have to show photo ID and they actually look at the signature to check against the one they have on file. No NBPP here. They probably don't get up before 10. Darn it, I forgot to buy my slurpee.

Get ready for the narrative this evening: The talking heads will dust off their scripts from '94 and endlessly go on about how the voters threw a childish temper-tantrum. Obama will continue his theme of voters motivated by "fear" over "intellect", as if there is any more fear today than there was 2 years ago amid the economic collapse and anger that allowed him to slip through the filters.

John the Econ:
"...allowed him to slip through the filters" is absolutely right. While the media was giving anal exams to the Republicans, Obama waltzed into the White House without the merest scrutiny from the "fourth estate" (more like fifth column). Voices on the right tried to warn people, but 52% weren't listening. I wonder...do they hear them now?

Going to vote right now!!!! Should be much more rewarding than it was two years ago.

The Democrats are going to steal a good number of these elections, much like they stole the election away from Hilary in 2008. I suspect ~40 seats go GOP and that Reid will keep his seat.

Wouldn't that be great if Christine O'Donnell won, though? Lord, how I would love for that to happen! I'm not holding my breath though.

BOTH parties indeed need to get the conservative message. The Republicans have one last chance. If the R insiders try once again to ignore us and co-opt the messengers we elect, they will have their own apocalypse come 2012.

And queen Nancy has seen the tidal wave and is warming up the rowboat to make her "I'm gonna take my ball and go home" exit should she get beaten in the election. What a pathetic excuse for a human being! Guess what, Nancy? We don't want your stupid ball. PLEASE take it and leave.... even if you win! You can go to Samoa and can tuna.

Nancy bounced out on her scrawny bum would be awesome! then Barney! too cool!
And, in two years we can start to work on MY bunghole Senators!

AM gonna have to vote one D, tho - county commission, the guy running as a R is completely batsplat crazy. His main platform plank is 'US out of the UN' - which can sympathise w/ but as a county commissioner? W-T-F???

Readers- It's pushing 5 pm (central) as I write this, and I'm officially moving away from the computer and turning on Fox News to watch the fun. There will be a special (and funny) video update here at Hope n'Change later this evening as the election returns come in!

I have to take issue with the last sentence, "...make sure the Conservative message to politicians in both parties is
heard loud and clear."

After Scott Brown took Teddy Kennedy's Senate seat in Massachusetts the leaders of the Democratic Party spun the results every way they could except the factual way. I'm sure Wednesday morning they'll have 101 excuses, reasons, explanations for the debacle that comes no where near the facts!

I often wonder what color the sky is in their world!

I would have to have been comatose or locked up in jail NOT to have voted this am. Turn-out looked like a presidential election, not a mid-term.....keep your fingers crossed!
