Random Acts of Political Commentary

Readers- I'm still taking the week off, but every now and then when I get inspired I still whip out a quick graphic to stick on Facebook or send to Barry's twitter account. So here are a few recent offerings that I hope you'll enjoy! -Stilt

This is why Janet Napolitano is buying billions of bullets...

Our FOIA request was granted, and Barry's college diploma was unsealed!

And after he hits it, he yells "FOUR!" so everyone will know how many died.

Wow! Stilt, that last graphic with the tee'd up ball,
Ouch! That is going to leave a mark!!

TrickyRicky said...

@WMD - Agreed, the last graphic was spot on in so many ways, including Dear Leader's propensity to spend more time recreating at our expense than actually trying to govern and improve the lot of his subjects. Or take that 3AM call from brave men dying on our behalf a long way from home. Swine.

Careful there Stilt - implying that the current occupier of the White House is a clown is now officially racist.

Personally, I find the mental image of a bumbling clown running around wildly trying to find a new vacation spot while being pursued by the scandal bull to be rather amusing (and apt).

Perhaps the display in the linked article was not done in the best taste, I don't know. I still think the (over)reaction is just as tasteless.

I think @Stilton has a problem in that he just cannot stay away. Go! Take care of your family. Nothing new is going to happen. Everything absurd that this bunch can say or do has been said and done.

Oh, wait: "First Lady: Barack's Working to Free Americans from 'Any Form of Public Assistance"

http://www.cnsnews.com/mrctv-blog/craig-bannister/first-lady-baracks-working-free-americans-any-form-public-assistance

"In an e-mail to supporters, First Lady Michelle Obama says she grew up in a family that didn't need help from the government, and that her husband is working to make Americans free from dependence on government once again."

Bold talk from the wife of the President who's entire life as been at the behest of some form of assistance, and who's administration set an all-time record for a nation on food stamps and workforce inactivity.

(Meanwhile, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) has written to USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack investigating the USDA's efforts to promote food stamp usage, focusing on a partnership with the Mexican government to promote food stamp usage among Mexican immigrants living in the United States)

Well, I guess it's understandable that she doesn't consider that $300,000 patronage job she got when Barack was elected in Illinois as "dependence on government".

(Also note that later, she went to "part-time" at that job, where she earned $104,000. No wonder the Obama's think that employers splitting jobs to part-time work to avoid ObamaCare isn't a big deal for people)

And quite frankly, what else can one possibly say about someone who claims that they are discouraging dependency on public assistance who is currently taking yet another umpteen-million dollar vacation while you are not?

Stay away @Stilton and do what you really need to do, nothing to see here.

@John the Econ...I always appreciate your input and 'take' on things because it's spot on. However, if Stilt's postings are therapeutic for HIM, then I'm selfish to say, I encourage him as it helps me get through my day of controlled chaos. Otherwise, yes, "nothing to see here". Thoughts and prayers with you Stilt, keep your head high.

John the Econ said...

Yes, @George, I concur. @Stilton does this because it's therapeutic for him. (It's the same for me, too) I was just having a little fun with him, and I'm sure he knows it. I think he appreciates the diversion that posting here provides, as well as the feedback.

I took a chance that there might be something posted to bring a little humor to my day. Thanks SJ. I was sure the diploma was in tune with the clowning around at the Missouri State Fair. I'm totally with txGreg on what he said. The over-reaction is ridiculous. But then it seems that everything associated with this POTUS is ridiculous! *sigh*
Continue to take care of you and yours!

@John the Econ

Gotcha'. Thank you and carry on all.

TrickyRicky made mention of the infamous "3AM call" that politicians refer to. That call may happen just like during Benghazi when lamont was where... occupying an empty chair, or at a D.C. bathhouse?
John the Econ; c'mon, man... let's get "culturally sensitive" with the afrikenyan-amerikenyan community. Any self-respecting rapper KNOWS that lamont's wife is not the "first lady"... she's the "first ho".
Also, I think the entire imbroglio with "rodeo clown" isn't that it is an ignominious allusion, but rather, it implies that lamont would lower himself to actual gainful, useful employment! Hell, it's as reprehensible as implying that Ted (hic) Kennedy would debase himself and seek employment as a re-hab counselor!

@Readers- Well, crud. I posted a perfectly nice response much earlier and now it seems to have disappeared and I'm too tired to recreate it. Let's see if I can just do quick thumbnails...

@WMD- Thank you. I think the Benghazi golf ball makes a statement. I will NEVER shut up about Benghazi.

@TrickyRicky- In fairness, Barry handles the 3am phonecalls exactly as well as he handles the ones that come in the rest of the day.

@txGreg- While I'm amused by the rodeo clown story, I actually whipped up this diploma before that story ever broke. I was playing with an iPhone App (PhotoFunia, I think) and just doodled it together - plus, there's currently a "clown college" theme appearing at Johnny Optimism, so maybe that influenced things.

@John the Econ- You've got me pegged (and I certainly took your comments as intended). I don't have the time, strength or sanity at present to do the regularly scheduled cartoon and commentary (they actually take time). But sometimes a quick graphic idea elbows its way into my head, and I just need to get it out there. It IS therapeutic for me - in no small part because of the subsequent camaraderie here.

And if Barry really wants to free Americans from public assistance, why doesn't he cut off public assistance? I think the change in social behaviors (after the initial wailing and riots) would be positive.

@George- If you guys can handle me doing what I can, when I can, then I'll be here as often as possible.

@Cookie- As I mentioned above (I think), the "clown college" diploma had nothing to do with the rodeo incident. Though I must admit, I posted a rodeo clown graphic over on Facebook. Maybe I should upload it over here, too!

@Bruce - didn't mean to skip your comment; I just ran out of time!

So; all the over-sensitive namby-pambies are up in arms about a rodeo clown impersonating Omessiah with a mask; making fun of Oleader; and the rodeo clown is banned from ALL rodeos in the future?...Really?
I would think all the clowns in the world would be calling for Ovacationer to step down due to 'Copyright Infringement', ’Plagiarism’, and banning HIM from acting, (actually doing), like a clown. The Rodeo at the Missouri State Fair in question is actually a metaphor for politics in today’s America. The Cowboy, (representing the liberal democrats), riding on and kicking the bull, (representing the conservative constitutionalists). Both jump out into the big arena and are watched by a throng of onlookers; some cheering for the cowboy; others the bull. Then you have the clown, (representing Ocrapshoveller, obviously), waiting to distract the bull from the cowboy, who is hell bent on riding/kicking the bull until it gives in.

Emmentaler Limburger said...

In defense of the clown who, comparing such performances from administrations preceding the race-baiting, socialist bastard currently in office, I think all conservatives should very vocally and obviously boycott all rodeos until his job - and his mask - are reinstated. This kneejerk deference to Ă˜bama and his ilk simply because of race has got to stop if we - this nation - are ever to recover from this "presidency".

Emmentaler Limburger said...

Sorry. "did nothing wrong" belongs between "office," and "I think" above. I'm just furious over this. What makes him so @#$%ing special that one man's career should be swept aside just because he chose to perform a traditional parody of him?! Unbelievable.

Stilton Jarlsberg said...

@David in SoCal- I think what's really pissing off the liberals is that the rodeo clown act drew CHEERS. It was entertaining satire for an audience bruised from nearly 5 years of a dictatorial and anti-American Values presidency. Humor can be a devastatingly powerful weapon, and the Left knows it - and fears it.

@Emmentaler- I think that the rodeo clown needs to be allowed to sit in the Whitehouse press room during all future events until there is no longer any "bull" being offered from Jay Carney.

@Readers- By the way, there will be a new cartoon and commentary on Friday. Because I'm pissed off.

@Stilton: Good form, my friend! I'm thinking Dana Carvey should now be thrown in Federal Prison for life, as a result of his 'mockery' of President Bush on SNL. Hope all is well with you and yours.
