Radio Activity

Shocking stories continue to come out about "JournoList" - an Internet website, closed to outsiders, where liberal journalists could meet, decide which stories to bury (like the Reverend Jeremiah Wright's anti-American diatribes) and, better still, which conservatives they'd like to bury.

Sarah Spitz, a producer for NPR, opined on the site that she'd like to be present to see Rush Limbaugh dying of a heart attack...and that rather than call for help, she would "laugh loudly like a maniac and watch his eyes bug out." She continues "I never knew I had this much hate in me - but he deserves it."

Ms. Spitz's biographical information has been pulled from NPR's affiliate website, but the organization - which employs a "Chief Ethics Officer" - hasn't commented further on the ethics
of publicly fantasizing about agonizing deaths for political opponents.

Other JournoList revelations include the fact that many alleged journalists wanted the government to take Fox News off the air...presumably because audiences were (and are) flocking to Fox News in hopes of hearing actual news.

All of it is sad, but none of it strikes us as surprising.

Because, unlike Sarah Spitz, we did know they have this much hate in them.

Actually, this and the Wanda Sykes kidney failure episode - moreover, the overt tolerance of it from the left and the leftmedia - scare the LIVING CRAP out of me.

Can anyone tell me what happened happened shortly after 25 October 1917, and was repeated with great regularity afterward? Yup. Dissidents, detractors, and political opponents of the Soviet were eliminated. Early on, it was immediate. Later, they were simply worked and starved to death (the average citizen was pretty much starved to death, too).

Of course, if EVERYONE had the crap scared out of them, we wouldn't be having this discussion: take a leftist, remove the crap from between their ears, and you're pretty much left with a normal human being...

Don't forget that Spencer Ackerman of The Washington Independent (I've never heard of it actually) advocated that the best way to counterattack if the Reverend Wright story got legs was to "...take one of them--Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares--and call them racists...This makes them 'sputter' with rage, which in turn leads to overreaction and self-destruction." Hm...will we overreact in November? Hope so. Counting on it.

These guys have got to be clueless about the digital world and the internet. Or do they think they are the only ones with access to digital information via the internet? Talk about getting caught with your pants down!

I DEFINATELY agree with Pryorguy .. I have personally been a victim of the liberals when I spoke my opinion ... did not even want me to have an opinion - only THEIR opinion mattered!

Been dealing with the public, clients, vendors, etc. most of my life, and have learned one valuable lesson about the folks whose brain miswiring makes them congenital liberals: these people can go rabid on you at the mere hint you may not be one of them. No logic, no quarter given, and no way to reason with them. The only safe response when their causes come into conversation is to remain silent but look sympathetic, and hope they turn their attention to someone else. No good ever comes from engaging them in any semblance of reasonable discourse, once they are aroused. You'd have more luck trying to talk a Kodiak bear out of slapping your head off than attempting to point out any little logical disconnect between their views and the real world. Two good things about meeting these folks on a business basis; first, when in a group of them, listening to their conversations can give you great insights into just how wildly unhinged some of them are, and second, since they operate almost entirely on emotion and almost never on any sort of practical, linear, logical reasoning basis, you can make huge profits selling them your most overpriced goods, as long as whatever the product is "feels like" something they need badly. We've noticed that anything painted in bright friendly colors can sell to them for nearly twice what the same item would bring if it was dull grey or blue, for instance, and anything to do with "green" or "hybrid" or "ecologically friendly" well, there's almost no limit to what these idiots will pay for such stuff. Kinda fun dealing with them, really. Like selling candy to really big babies with adult budgets, if you push the right buttons. Cynical? Yep. Does it work? Every time.
