Call of Dooty

obama, obama jokes, bark obama, shit eating, dog, conservative, biden, earth day, hope n' change, hope and change

Readers- There's more than enough bad news for Hope n' Change to comment on today, but personal circumstances won't allow. So rather than leave a gaping hole on this page, I thought I'd at least bring back our old pals Bark Obama and Joe Bite 'em to remind you of the (ahem) high esteem in which I hold their real-life counterparts.   -Stilt

Well, at least they gobbled up their own poop, rather than forcing it down our throats (for this day, anyway).

I guess they're busy sniffing out pressure cookers, Benghazi terrorists, and Fast & Furious gunrunners, among other threats to our domestic tranquility.

I agree with CenTex, better them gobbling than us. They dish enough out to us, but it usually comes from a bull.

I wonder what Hairy was up to... was he busy trying to bury his master's guns?

Take care, doc! We're with you!

I don't care, that look on Bark's face cracks me up every time. Thanks for the doggies Stilt, and hang in there.

I wonder if the official Presidential Food Taster had to sample it first. Talk about a shitty job! Reminds me of an old Cheech and Chong routine... "Good thing we didn't step in it!"

Notice how more tranquil and non-confrontational "Earth Day" is with a Democrat in office? I barely even noticed it.

Since Stilton is preoccupied, here's a topic: Those poor Muslims.

As if on cue, starting Saturday the MSM unleashed the predictable parade of stories lamenting the fact that the Boston terrorists were not Tea Partiers, Christians, or like-minded people. My first exposure was as I was getting in my car Saturday morning, my radio was tuned to NPR; I was presented with one of those "How awful it is to be a Muslim in America after a terrorist attack by other Muslim" stories. They even had interviews with someone who said that someone had said mean things to them, and one who had even been "shoved".

The horror. All I could think was "Try this: Walk through downtown Berkely wearing a Ronald Reagan T-shirt and see if you get treated any better."

Of course, such stories are explicitly intended to promulgate the notion that America is a very intolerant place. The reality is quite the opposite; There are few places on the planet that are safer and more tolerant than America, period. This is why the left here is as outrageous as it seems to be; these people are chicken%&@! and there is absolutely zero consequence of being so. As I've said here before, there's few things more gutless than driving around with one of those insipid "COEXIST" bumper-sticker on your Prius. They're doing so in a place where they have little fear of someone even keying their car, much less pulling them out, beating them senseless, and then either throwing them in prison or putting a bullet in them. Try driving around with that bumper sticker in China, anywhere in the Middle East (outside of Israel) or even in certain neighborhoods in Britain or France and see what happens. You don't have to convince most American's to "coexist"; we already do. The only purpose of displaying that is to proclaim your empty and meaningless piety.

The reality is that it's the left in America that is truly intolerant. What other possible explanation could there be for their memes?

Case in point: In the immediate aftermath of 911, Mosques were not burnt in protest and Muslims rounded up by mobs to be beaten or killed. (In fact, most mosque burnings in America are perpetrated by other Muslims, usually because the mosque in question is not extreme enough in some eyes)

The fact is that other than for a contingent of activist feminists upset about genital mutilation, very few Americans paid any mind at all to Muslims in America before they decided to start blowing up things.

Or better yet, consider this hypothetical: An explosion occurs at a public gathering in a middle-eastern country. It is later revealed that the perpetrators might have been Christians or Jews. What happens next? One doesn't have to stretch their imagination to hard. After all, there mere publishing of cartoons in a country thousands of miles away sends people in these regions into a homicidal rage. I doubt the Christian or Jewish communities in these places would fare very well.

But in America, the worst that NPR can find is that someone heard something "mean" and someone even got "shoved".

We are still the promised land.

I have missed Bark and Bite'em! Glad to see they are still around. I also agree that John the Econ is right on! Well done, well said to everyone.
Hang in there SJ. Sending good thoughts and prayers in your behalf.

John the Econ --

what you said was so good, it deserved saying twice, I agree.

Though if you really want to have fun in Berkeley, wear a "Sissies for Sarah" shirt instead. Their heads would be like pressure cookers, indeed. poof! :)

Stilt, be well.

(my sign in code is "shopeDod any." -- I'll take a tank.)

Nice rant, John! And you are so right about those freaking coexist stickers. Try sticking one on your car and driving around in Saudi Arabia. You'd be in jail or beaten senseless within the hour; maybe both. In Iran, they'd just shoot you on the spot. And why are the "coexist" types so unwilling to coexist with Conservatives and Libertarians?

The other day, I saw some woman driving down I40 in her Subaru with the BO and coexist stickers. She was blonde, pretty and wearing a tight lowcut shirt. I thought to myself, "How long would she last in Iran or Egypt?" We all know the answer; she'd be raped, beaten and stoned within hours. And her dying words would be, "But I just wanted to coexist...."

John the Econ said...

@Colby, I'm pretty sure that most (but not all) of these "coexist" types are just smart enough to know better than to openly expose those views in the places we've mentioned, or really anywhere outside the safety of our own borders. Of course, they in their own minds they wouldn't frame such common sense as the obvious cowardice it is; they'd rationalize it at "sensitivity" towards offending other cultures; especially cultures that wouldn't think twice about chopping their heads off.

Which is really the point, isn't it? What they rationalize as "sensitivity" is actually cowardice.

But either way, it's nothing more than a cheap vanity statement for the otherwise unthinking.

BTW: The guy that was carjacked by the brothers had a "coexist" bumper sticker. I wonder if he's since re-evaluated his vanity statement.

@CenTexTim- Now that I think of it, I should have pointed out that Obama recycles his promises and threats more than anything else. Of course, he still eats sh*t.

@Velcro- The trick to making poop palatable is to serve it on really nice china. Taxpayer-funded china.

@TrickyRicky- I've got a soft spot for the dog characters too. I'll have to let them out more often.

@Colby- Suddenly, I have nothing but pity for the presidential taster. Of course, I also feel sorry for the poor sonofagun when Michelle is feeling, um, "romantic."

@John the Econ- Excellent piece on the supposed "intolerance" faced by Muslims in this country. And actually, you do such a nice job of stepping in and grabbing the reins when I'm away that I'd put you on the payroll if I could afford your Obamacare health coverage. But sadly, that's not the case.

@Cookie- Thanks for the good thoughts (and that goes for everyone else here, too).

@Jim Hlavac- I've been places where just wearing an American flag pin can get you dirty looks. Not Texas, though. I love my home state.

@Colby- I sometimes fantasize about keeping bricks in my car, only so I can throw them at cars with "Coexist" or "Obama" bumper stickers. When following such cars, I've also been known to say "arming photon torpedoes" and then pushing a random button on my dashboard to enjoy imagining the dolt in front of me vanishing in a colorful explosion. (Note to Feds: I do not have photon torpedoes, nor do I know how to make them out of kitchenware.)

@John the Econ- Three cheers for your statement "What they rationalize as "sensitivity" is actually cowardice." Yes, yes, and once more YES.

@Spary Hudson- Granted, when it comes to poop-eating politicians, it is sort of an Ouroboros situation.

And thank you for your kind thoughts. They're appreciated.

I must complain about this one.
Why are you insinuating that he is a shite eating dog when every one knows he is really a dog eating P.O.S.?
